could we maybe have a section for people to add their cd/vinyl collection that is not considered metal by the site, and it would be just like the normal collection area, but the text would be gray showing that there is no link to this in the database...

now, how do you add this? well i think it would be something to the effect of:

ALBUM NAME:
ALBUM ARTIST(s):
RELEASE DATE:
ADDITIONAL NOTES:

with a submit button on the bottom, along with an edit button on the bottom of the collection page...

now, i only bring this up because i am noticing more and more that people will have some amount of cd's added to their page and it really clogs it up....

so, what do you think?

(sidenote: have you ever thought of making one thread that is stickied that is a MA V.2 question/suggestion thread? it would take away from a lot of the questions....)

I disagree as this is a metal site and not a multil-music site so I see no need for it. I realise some people post their collection on their own page that isn't metal but I on't find it inconveniant at all.

I suggested it a long time ago. I think that we'll have such a feature in v2.

It makes no sense to not allow it here. If people wants to have their whole collection online, just let them do it. Lots of users already add it to the additional notes.
