Heh, for some reason I was upped another 5 points for no reason. I'm happy with that, but is there a reason why? I was just upped 5 for the last review I did the other day. I've actually noticed things like this a lot.

No. I really only post reviews and randomly post around this board while I'm not doing so.

u can get points by

adding bands
updating info on pages (logo, photo, albums, demos, members,e tc)
writing reviews
reporting mistakes

If you edited a previously accepted review recently, you may have gotten extra points for it. There's no actual mechanism in place to keep us from doing that (though edits are supposed to receive zero points), so it happens from time to time.

I can dock you 5 points now, if it would ease your conscience.

That explains it, because I edited quite a lot of my reviews in the time I have been here. Not to get points, but because I thought I could make em better. I think I edited the "Suffer Our Pleasures" one three times after I submitted...
