Sounded quite fine to me until I've seen the "lyrical themes" field...

I don't see your point here. Are you saying that they should be removed exclusively because of lyrical themes?

Well, it kind of falls under "Gimmick Bands" I think, yet there are several comic/gimmick bands on the site that were accepted, so I'm not sure about the policy on this one, just pointing it out.

Carrion (Svk) and Karrion (Svk) are the same band

One should be deleted (and photo/logo re-added in case you keep older version)

Actually thrashmaniagr80 added it faster, so I've deleted your version.

And I will answer publically.

Here, you added a 6-way split:
http://metal-archives.com/board/viewtop ... nd#1407913

Then, you asked us, at the wrong place, to do an update. I told you to use the report function which you, again, forget to use. Adding a 6-way split (clearly forbidden in the rules) and failing to do what a mod told you is not an honest mistake. Don't play that card with me, please. Not using the report function under pretence that it's taking too long (which is not true at all) is not acceptable. Learn to be patient.
The thread is only for bands so I do tell you that you posted in the wrong thread.

Good that you want to contribute but do it within the rules. Thanks.

okay so tell me WHY u didnt warned cyberquake about his post couple of weeks ago and about same prob ;) and apparently u answered him in very nice way like he did right , so look here :
http://metal-archives.com/board/viewtop ... t=#1404883

and about 6 ways split i added! u have to know that i reported myself that i added wrong title and means that i didnt added it in purpose , i read all rules and we all forget , we have a full daily life and mistakes comes , mistakes are clear !! and i posted here to fix the prob fast , its not about patience , otherwise i wont care if even 4 albums same are there !!
anyways the purpose of this is to let the site in clean and clear form for every visitor ..and contributors should understaind each other instead of arguing and being harsh , everyone can do faults including you .
thanks anyways,i hope its only misunderstood and all its fine now btw us, and i promiss ill use report function up from now ;) cheers :)

not metal ... for the fourth time ... at least.
http://blackcircleofmetal.blogspot.com/ ... -2008.html

the user (http://www.metal-archives.com/userprofi ... =Zitadelle) submitted the band (wrong spelling) and the album (incorrect tracklist) wrong! ... a penalty would be appropriate.

I have the album by the way...

This band he submitted too.. http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=3540295783

I'm pretty sure the band didn't release a cassette and I've talked to the band about it and he said it was only in mp3 format. I wonder where the cassette came from..

I'm not sure if this is quite the right place for this but... I submitted the band Mannfall earlier today (along with Morte Lune), I'm sure that I was the first to add them to the queue, got a confirmation email that my submission was accepted, but it says a different user Submitted them. What happened?

If you could remove the band "Mannfall", it'd be great. It appears that when I submitted it I wasn't aware that the physical releases are simply bootlegs. Thus far it appears that all "official" material from Mannfall is digital, and physical releases are planned but not yet in motion.

How were you not aware they were bootlegs when you were selling them yesterday? What happened?

Corona just let me know that they were holding off pressing/distributing any more of them. Right now there's only several advance copies that Corona and one other person has. Thus they're unofficial releases.

I don't want to be pitnicky but according to the rules, Qafas should be deleted

Demo is apparently not released yet: only on 30rd december on tape

Blog says (May)

Fajr is the first demo Qafas demo recorded and self-released on May 28th 2009 in MCD format. Fajr is Arabic for "Twilight"

Was the MCD really released?

Because demo date was now changed to 30rd december 2009

Qafas - Fajr

Demo, Thorn Laceration Records
December 30th, 2009

Limited to 10 numbered copies on cassette. Covers are in full arabic

------

I know its only 5 days but mods always tell people to wait for the official release date to add bands (now if MCD version was really released, thus everything is fine)

Dude the guy from TLR just updated the band today. Read the blog on myspace. Anyway I think the band's genre should be changed to Funeral Doom/Dark Ambient

I read the blog on myspace

Thus release date should not be changed to 30 december 2009 & same for label

Release date= May 2009, label: self released (MCD) and notes should state "re-released on tape by TLR on December 30th 2009

That reflects more the truth than what was changed

If they are bootlegs, why are there tape covers on your website, in high resolution, bearing the Cocainacopia logo?

He wanted to sell our stuff. We don't really care, so we gave him the go ahead, especially since he offered to send us a load of copies, with professionally made inlays etc, so that we could send them to the rest of the Order, and any other interested parties.

At the moment, it's looking like we're never going to release anything officially, though, except compilations.

Also, wintermoon.co.uk is the OSN's site. We just put random crap up there for the hell of it. Seriously, look at the index, it's a complete mess.

The band Eyetrap should be removed the album was never released (read the note on the band's page on MA).

I contacted the label after the releases disappeared from the site and was told they were canceled. Does that mean removal from this site?

None of those were ever released? That split had a September date.

If none of those were released, then yes, the band will be removed from the site.

I think Five Finger Death Punch should be removed.

13 reviews for 21% for their first release with most of the complaints relating to how the band is more nu-metal than anything or not metal at all.

Their second release has 2 reviews for 28%, with the complaints remaining in the same area.

They definitely sound more nu-metal than anything, and even for the Metal Archives, where many of the reviews are fair minus a few outliers, neither full length release has made it passed the 28% mark with scores that are incredibly low, which is leading me to make the argument that they don't belong on the site.

^ Add one.

Also, Raw Radar War's metal influence is secondary; the prominent one is that of punk/hardcore.

P.S: You say it's OK to have a physical release that's given out for free, does it work the other way around i.e albums that are released digitally, but you have to pay to download them?

They were released. I think the band claimed it was a bootleg afterwards. The band member posted here a few days ago explaining it (a few posts up). He said they were bootlegs but they had an agreement so it wasn't really a bootleg.

I only asked because it has happened to 2 bands I had added before for the same thing happening.

I didn't realize Van Canto was on this website. Is this one of those official exceptions?
