Instead of always complaining and whining: FLAG bands then if you don't want them to be accepted... It was me who accepted them but now they have been removed
i did report them, but i didn't catch them in the queue, i made the report as soon as I saw they had been accepted. i just posted here to see why they got on MA

The older stuff is Death/Thrash with Crossover-style vocals. Ray from Metal Curse described the 1993 demo as Retaliation era CARNIVORE meets Beneath the Remains era SEPULTURA - http://www.metalcurse.com/reviews/tu-revs.html . The new material seems to be more in the Hardcore/Crust vein, according to their official website: http://www.toxicnarcotic.com/band.htm

I would just change the genre to "Death/Thrash Metal (early), Hardcore/Crust", or something along those lines.

Thanks for not mentioning the band name, assfuck. I wanted to check them out based on the NES game description, but now that they're deleted and nobody else mentioned the name I can't.

There's supposedly 2 MP3 samples on their homepage link. Somebody who has a good connection (not me) should try downloading those and then go from there.

I sincerely hope that M-A will never accept real noise/core/shit bands, because then I'd have to submit the Meat Shits "Regurgitated Semen" demo with 1,691 song titles! I can just imagine how painful it would be typing that out, and then a "Could not connect with database" message.

I don't want to lose any more points, so I ask. :-/
This band, I think, is a borderline case.

Name: Carwashtagnacht
Genre: Industrial Metal

They released a demo. On the website the reviewer compares them to Snot and Noise Machine (two Hungarian bands which are both present in the Archives.) Shall I submit this band?

Just cuz a band doesn't have releases doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Not every band has the liberty to just go to a recording studio and make their CD in a piece of shit small town. I've tried adding my bands and all three were rejected, one of which rejected twice. Now at first I thought ok maybe I got something wrong according to the holy guidelines but after verification, no. It says in the guidelines that if the band doesn't have releases it can be accepted anyway. All three of my bands were rejected on a count of it being "not metal, does not belong". Are you fucking kidding me?! Maybe I should go add my black metal band to a pop site?? You guys need to stop acting so damn condecending rejecting everyone just cuz you feel like it, and don't tell me my bands aren't metal, asshole.
thanks and goodnight

no one said that your band doesn't exist but if it has no releases then its unlikely anyone will want to look up information about you.

bye

You (yes, you specifically) need to stop humoring these people, parasite. No, don't reply. Just do it.

Whether he realizes it (or wants to believe it) or not, the defect has come up with a very reasonable course of action for himself to follow in his one (and only) post.

Dear Mods,

Just out of curiosity, do you receive a lot of submissions for Whitesnake?

Gracias.

"Many" is a relative term.

But yes, Whitesnake submissions are certainly not unknown.

If this is canned I'd suggest the person who does so moves the members (besides Turbin himself) to the former members section of the band Neil Turbin

I've removed the band 'The Aurora Project' on grounds of its blatant non-metalness.

Just FYI, christkiller, I noticed you moved Mathias Blad back into the former members section of Falconer, but he's definitely back in the band.

Oops I mistook due to the "members" section and by a colombian moron that added "Kristoffer - present vocalist" in the "former/alternative name" section

Is M.C. Blade (http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=58817) really a metal band? "Melodic metal", no listed members, private label, no song lengths, and an extremely ambiguous cover.

I have already warned him to stop adding those band from metalpages.de

The problem for me is that the band is labelled as melodic metal.. so I accepted it :/

I'll let those bands from this site and from nwobhm.com to a moderator who is more into that genre

Review for the band from metalpage.de

Monster time! The titletrack of MC Blades one and only release is among the best metalsongs I ever heard! Some two minute acoustic guitarwork, before a majestic riff opens an overwhelming epic hymn. Carried by the sublime voice of Mark Carolans you feel like proudly singing your national anthem when it comes to the chorus. Reminds me a bit of STREET CHILD and FORGOTTEN CHILD, to give you a rough direction. Incredible!
Surely, the remaining three songs can't compete with this monster. What remains are two enjoyable, sleazy songs ("Right for you", "Let's have the news") as well as "The search", reminding a bit of the titletrack and also quite awesome. Must-have for your collection, but hardly a chance of getting it. And if, of course, really expensive... (Stefan Wille)

Seems o.k. to me, even if we may ask, how much "sleazy" the songs nr.2 and 3 really are, but usually hard rock bands with minimal metal influences and AOR bands get labelled as such on this page.

Compare it with this review:

Released in: 1985
Released as: LP
Origin: France
Style: Hard Rock
Label: Private
Rarity Grading (0-6): 4 - Incredibly rare!

If we take a strict definition of what is the heavy metal genre then this album does not belong here. I suppose the review is done because of the hype that exists in the circles of metal collectors around the name of PONCE PILATE and their one and only LP. Many may be carried away by the front cover but what I must say first is that PONCE PILATE play good progressive heavy rock influenced by the European 70’s prog rock movement though their compositions are not so perplexed and technical as of the legendary groups of that period, much heavier though. They brought to my mind ANTONIUS REX from Italy without reaching the levels of mystery and darkness that AR have. Keyboard driven tracks, nice vocals and small hints of early heavy metal can draw the attention of some open minded metal fans. It’s well played music and I actually find tracks like “Les anges de Balthazar” or “Morphine queen” (the piano here reminds me of “Gutter ballet”!) very interesting, but I’m still warning: this album is not for everybody. Those who are searching for the long lost twins of SORTILEGE, BLASPHEME or ADX will have to look somewhere else.

DESOLATE ETERNITY

Apparently they released only 3 songs on a compilation

I certainly don't mean to get this page taken down as it is the project of a friend of mine, but I'm curious as to why it was accepted:

http://metal-archives.com/band.php?id=59011

I'm guessing that you're taking the word that they've released something due to the demo tape picture, and giving them time to officially enter real release information?

I'm only asking for future reference, thanks.
