Couldn't seem to find anything on here for this specific question so I'm just asking as I've seen artists with abuse allegations/convictions on their profiles (I have also done some of these reports myself) and I've seen other artists with abuse allegations/convictions who's profiles are clean of it and even a report was bypassed/ignored. Of course not all allegations are true and I would have to see an innocent person have their name tarnished by the infamous grapevine but I've seen a few artists get away with what looks legitimate for a mention. One example I can think of off the time of my head; CJ (Lorna Shore, Signs of the Swarm) who was ejected from LS for sexual assault allegations etc his responses to the accuser didn't help his cause as well.

Something that I thought would be worth bringing up as it's a touchy subject and of course you can't trust the word of every Tom and Larry who says so.

You have a guy from Goatlord who murdered two people and a guy from Carpe Noctem who murdered someone. Both killed themselves after the crimes.

So, as an encyclopedia, part of our mission is to only include information which qualifies as objective, factual, verifiable, and relevant or at least is publicly connected to the artist. The more relevant the information is to the work of the artist, the better. For this reason, if an artist is charged (and especially convicted) of a crime, and information on that crime is public and can be publicly linked to the artist, then it's fine to include it. If it's just allegations, guesswork, or assumptions, and that information isn't publicly connected to the artist, then it's not really encyclopedic. This isn't a matter of whether allegations are true or not, or "he said, she said," it's strictly a matter of whether it satisfies those conditions given above. MA doesn't exist to be the news, or the rumour mill; our credibility lies with us being able to back up everything that is provided as information on the site with verifiable, public sources.

EDIT: I should add a point that there's no problem including accusations if it impacted the work of the artist. For example, if an artist was fired from a band because of accusations, well, that would be noteworthy.
