Hi, thought I'd suggest that a feature be added to the front page listing some prominent releases in the past 4 to 12 weeks or so. This could be accompanied by a review score (if there is one already -- in fact this would be one way of determining which releases would count as "prominent": if people review it very soon after release), or if there is no review yet, the release could be designated with "Not Yet Reviewed" which might even incentivize people to listen to it and review it. But I think it would work well enough to just choose reviewed releases. This might also serve as a good way to draw daily page visits, so people can check if any good albums came out.
