Have a tab in your collection that shows new/upcoming releases by bands already in your collection. I always find 2-3 new releases from bands i like who i wasnt even aware had started recording again.

no, it doesn't. that's just a calendar. What i'm talking about is personalized. So let's say you have Zyklon albums in your list. Zyklon reforms and releases a new album that you don't hear about(or will), it gets automatically added to a list of new releases by bands that you already listen to when it gets added to the archives.

Not planned. The next best thing would be to bookmark all the bands in your collection/the ones you want to keep an eye on. You can sort bookmarks by date last edited and thus can spot newly added albums as well.

Though I don't think it's really that difficult to just check the upcoming albums section for your bands.
