I was looking around to see what genre Kittie was considered and found that they're not on this site. It seemed odd since I've never heard a song of theirs that didn't sound metal. I later found that Otep was not here either which led me to wonder if there was some sexist element to it, but I found that Korn and Coal Chamber aren't even here. They're not "metal" because it's Nu Metal?

Nu METAL?

If you search Nu Metal, there are 47 bands listed. Slipknot is on here, thought it's not listed as Nu Metal. What is going on?

Simply put, "nu metal" isn't considered metal. It's not discrimination and it certainly isn't sexism.
