I don't know what you're talking about. Seems perfectly legit.

It must be joking, look, the "Latest reviews" is above "Latest additions" and the special album name: Penis METAL. It reminds me of the April Fools' Day of 2012: http://www.metal-archives.com/news/view/id/201

Those reviews are all acceptable. Ultimately, the staff were too busy/lazy to do an AFD prank this year, this is user-driven.

Very good, people. When I first saw it, I thought it was just some fun on April 1st and they'd all be removed by the next day. I didn't think they'd actually be acceptable. Good prank!

And now, the album Penis Metal is by far the most reviewed album in our stats... http://www.metal-archives.com/stats#Top_100_-_Albums :D

Some aren't acceptable and will probably get removed again, but it should still be enough for it to stay the most reviewed release.

Was happy to be in the plot and contributed with my rock solid 3 pointer review.

Aw, let 'em stay. Please? At least until someone stumbles upon one of the bad ones and brings it to the oven fodder thread in 2026.

They will ask, "How the hell did that get approved? Better yet, who the hell approved it?!?"

And someone will say, "It was in 2014!?!?! The standards were different then!?!"

Because April Fool's Day will be an extinct concept in 12 years, of course.

I know that you were parodying the recent conversation in the Oven Fodder thread, but your scenario requires believing that the people of 2026 are incapable of looking at the date of submission for all those reviews and rationalizing their presence on the site by remembering that it was April Fool's Day.

Ah, true. I've never played attention to the dates, but I suppose having them all submitted on the same day would be quite noticeable and a tad suspect. It just struck me that it would be hilarious coming across OzzyApu's review in the future.

Maybe that is why the site has been giving me errors frequently these past few days.

And if anyone was attacking the site my first guess would be members from the core band fanbases who are mad that their favourite bands aren't here.
