No I'm not complaining that all my vests are sticky.

I could see this thread being a sticky since the last time one of these died after a while a new one replaced it fairly quickly. They start afloat pretty well anyway, and I think the topic is the best kind of picture thread we could ask for in terms or relevance to the site/forum. It a nice thread for newcomers and veterans to be aware of, being that it reflects a cool part of metal culture.

No need to make it a sticky. Too many threads at the top of a forum looks cluttered and I think users who aren't regulars generally don't skip down to find a discussion - cleaning up the dozen or so stickies seems to have energized the musicians forum a bit, or at least made it more welcoming to new users. I don't see the use for a lot of stickied threads though, other than where there are essential threads (suggestions and complaints) or where there's a lot of similar chat that can be condensed (Rec central).

Maybe we could make the patches sticky so nobody posts about sewing them on with dental floss instead of thread?
