Managed to sneak one more in just before midnight. I spent most of today recovering from a grueling Tuesday that culminated in jamming with my band for 3 hours and getting home at 2 a.m. I may get one or two more in before I turn in tonight, but they'll end up counting for Thursday. It looks like Iamntbatman has replaced me as the coked up review machine. lol

I managed to get another three in today, though I feel a little dirty because one of those was a two song promo... I wasn't even going to bother reviewing it but having the opportunity to title something THRASH FUCK KILL and have it make perfect sense was just too good to pass up.

Managed to polish 2 more off today so far, including Dokken's latest, which was already hit by someone else yesterday, but I had a strong urge to get that album reviewed while it was still fresh in my mind. I will probably get a few more in today, probably a lot more thrash metal and a couple of black metal picks coming down the pike soon.

I think unfortunately that my one Panzerchrist review will be my only contribution to this. I've had to spend the last couple of days sorting out car insurance for the car I'll hopefully be picking up tomorrow. At least I've had the working title for that one planned for a while along with the other Panzerchrist albums. I thought about doing Outpost Fort Europa too, but I haven't listened to that one in a long time.

Just managed to sneak 2 more in today prior to it becoming Friday. I'm really thrilled to see the high number of participants relative to the earlier challenges. Maybe if all goes well we can get back to this being a twice a year thing. :thumbsup:

I'm really happy to see someone review Rocka Rollas and Blazon Stone. I pretty much worship everything Ced does with those bands (and Breitenhold). If I hadn't already reviewed them for my 'zine, I would have tackled them for the challenge.

Hopefully I can get back to reviews today. Exams have been killing me and preventing me from doing reviews the last couple of days.

Tonight is the opening night of a play that I'm in, and I'll have three more shows going on over the weekend, so I doubt I'll be able to do more than one or two a day for the remainder of this.

I'm still working on a shitload more! It's just that the difference in time zones (and going out drinking after work last night instead of coming home and pounding away at my keyboard) meant that there was just about a precisely 24-hour stretch where I didn't submit anything. I hope to crank out a shitload more reviews this weekend, and am indeed nearly finished my third of the day already. More, more, more!

Friday was kind of a bad day for me in terms of scheduling so I didn't get anything submitted until after midnight. I'll hopefully have enough time to crank some out this weekend, especially considering that I haven't really broken into any of the newest promos that I got as of yet and this will be the incentive I need to get caught up. I should have a fairly respectable final result, but I'm nowhere in the neighborhood of topping what I did 5 years ago. I'll probably be hitting the latest Harmony release soon, since I'd planned on hitting it from the beginning despite someone else already getting it, but otherwise every other target I have is still untouched.

Hmm, almost missed the challenge entirely--I began to get suspicious when I saw quite a few worthy writers crawling out of their caves. I pretty much never write reviews anymore, but if I find the inspiration and a worthy enough candidate, I'll try to do one.

I hope to one or two more done for the end of the challenge. Somehow I manage to have more time during the work week than the weekends. Anyways, keep it up everyone. A final hard push and we could at least get over 400, which is respectable.

I think I'll stop here, I won't get to review some more releases I had planned to, but as the 'quality' of my writings is kind of going down I guess that it's better for me to just stop and call it a day. Besides that I won't have much time to write something tomorrow. Heh, I guess eight is fine for the first time that I take part in this challenge. It was fun.
