Inquiring about this band's blacklisting and petitioning for their inclusion on account of the self-titled debut LP (and the 2005 re-recording titled 1987), the 1988 EP/Mini-LP Love on the Line and the sophomore LP Hammer & Nail. The vast majority of their discography spanning 1989 to 1999 is AOR/Melodic Hard Rock, but their early career is Sunset Strip-influenced Metal:

• Whitecross
• Love on the Line
• Hammer & Nail
• 1987

The band used to be listed based on the self-titled debut, but were removed in 2010. They were checked again in 2012, but not re-added.
Sounds like hard rock to me, so blacklist stays.

If you ask me, the debut's Metal moments include "Who Will You Follow", "He Is the Rock", "Lookin' for a Reason", "Seein' Is Believin'" and "Signs of the End". The rest of it is, indeed, a mix of Glam/Hard Rock and even CCM/Adult Contemporary for the sappy "You're Mine", but my hope was the band could've made it through on the previously mentioned tracks. Alas, it didn't pass muster. Oh well.

Whitecross released a new album 'Fear No Evil' this year. Can I resubmit for your consideration?
