Those two songs seem acceptable, but they released more stuff so this won't be enough on its own.
Is the other stuff metal aswell?

In the case of their last EP, yes. Enscribed was released physically and digitally from their official Myspace in 2008, even with a pre-order:

Hrm...Two borderline metal songs on a split don't seem to be enough to warrant inclusion. The rest is mostly core, so best to keep them on the blacklist.

I've been trying to add a record for my old band and it says Blacklisted and I have no idea why it ever would be.

Can someone please tell me as to why?

Hi all - I've attempted to make an account for my band (this one) to find it was Blacklisted.
The only thing I can see in regards to why it is Blacklisted is whatever 'PaganiusI' said about 2 tracks or something.
Since learning this I've spoken with HellRaiser and have learned about the disliking towards sub-genre etc which is fair.

We had 2x 4/5 track EP's and 3x 2 track releases between 2006 & 2010, the band is Deathcore but certainly more metal than hardcore, what do I need to do now to make a submission if the Blacklist is still up?

There's no disliking of anything - we simply don't accept bands that are more hardcore based than metal. And if it's really borderline we may wait until more material exists. So in this case, if there's more than the two songs, post links to the EPs here, some mods will take a listen and then we'll make a ruling then. If we think it's metal enough, we whitelist it. If not, the blacklisting stays. That's all there is to it really.
