Some of this band's early works could be considered groove/progressive metal imo. The djent sound is there but this is long before the djent wave so they were really just biting Meshuggah

That's correct and thus it's unacceptable. The accepted based on note on Meshuggah's page has been restored and the user who "re-worded" it has been warned.

I don't know what you're talking about, I just thought this band deserved a second look. Thanks for checking it out, no problem.

It's just that we realized that when you mentioned Meshuggah that their "accepted based on" note has been altered when it shouldn't have been since people can easily assume that just because Meshuggah is here that any band similar to them will make the cut. However, when it comes to MA acceptability it's only the material up to Contradictions Collapse that counts. Everything after that not really.

Oh, yeah. I never even saw any of that and my appeal was not influenced by it. Sorry for the confusion.
