I'm actually not ashamed to be listening to modern radio anymore, what with Cage the Elephant, Tame Impala, Arctic Monkeys, Black Mountain, Temples, Uncle Acid, Radio Moscow, and a bunch of other of these bands getting coverage. I'm guessing it's the latest trend, but it's a trend I love.
I mean, come on. After two decades of post grunge emo shit, I need some commercialized radio rock that is utterly derivative of the 1960s and '70s.

Arctic Monkeys have some really good stuff, and for their latest album some band member said Black Sabbath was one of their inspirations.

I haven't even heard of the other bands mentioned above.

Both of Tame Impala's full-lengths are some of the most blissful and catchy psyche pop I've ever heard. It's been a year and a half since I've heard about them and they've been on constant rotation ever since. Just gorgeous stuff.

I am not really into the commercial offshoot of it but i like the neo psychedelica thing. i am more into neokraut however.

short answer is yeah, I'm into it, but to expand on it, it's really hit or miss with me. As with all genres, really.
I've seen Radio Moscow play live at the Neurolux three times and really dug 'em- one of my favorate live bands. I love that old-school bluesy rock wailing, and Tame Impala produce some of the best Beatles-esque psychadelia I've ever heard. (Isn't "Bold Arrow of Time" on some TV commercial now? Who cares, I still like em.) Arctic Monkeys don't really do it for me though. Cage The Elephant neither- my local radio station plays them and they just sound too generic to me.

Not sure what psychedelia has to do with the Arctic Monkeys or Cage the Elephant, unless they've released something trippy since I last had a look at their discography.

Anyway, I dig it. Tame Impala's debut in particular is absolutely stellar. The sophomore is excellent too. Some of the catchiest music ever conceived by man.

Yeasayer is another band worth mentioning in the context of psych indie pop.

@Azmodes I think that's why they call it "Neo-Psychedalia", which probably should have been called "Post-Psychedelic Rock" or something.
Anyways, Wolfmother & the S.I.G.I.T. are two bands that come to mind. I really like Wolfmothers old school 70's sound on their first album.

What about Acid Mothers Temple and Makoto Kawabata, Musica Transonic, Comets on Fire, High Rise, Mainliner? Those are great neo-psych acts.

^ that's what I was thinking - hard psychedelic bands. BUT, OP did distinctly say he liked the radio rock....so there's also the Black Keys. BUT, I will say that if you wanna dive into the genre, there are a lot of good ones.
