In a sad development for information-loving metalheads everywhere, our friendly competitors over at the Extreme Metal Encyclopedia have suffered a loss of all their irreplaceable information. After exceeding the memory limits of their host, Webs.com, the EME lost all two of its profiles, and had to close down their forums as well. Particularly devastating is the loss of EME's one-of-a-kind profile on guitar virtuoso Anton The Reaper, a musician whose misunderstood approach to metal has alienated him from securing profiles on other, more mainstream encyclopedias.

All hope is not lost, however. The EME has pledged to rebuild their extensive database on a new site, hosted by Wikia, and have already started up a highly original, and in no way familiar forum dedicated to discussions on only the most extreme forms of metal, like metalcore and punk rock, as well as some corporate espionage to keep things fresh.

If you wish to help the EME rebuild, feel free to create an account on their new site and help re-add profiles to complete their database. And here's to a speedy recovery for the one and only Extreme Metal Encyclopedia.

I know this happened over a month ago, but this is starting to get really sad. While I won't spill the dude's personal life details on this forum for his own sake, he's leaked some stuff on that forum that indicate that he's had a pretty fucked-up childhood. I wouldn't put it past somebody under his circumstances to be so distrustful and angry.

That having been said: LOL

"Remember that thing that was never really funny, but people kept bringing it up anyway? Here it is again!"

I really don't know who's the more pathetic.
