Something tells me there was a thread about this not too long ago, but that's beside the point. Are there any artists that you're particularly fond of?

For me, one of my favorite artists would have to Rib:y(uhki), who also happens to sing for and do art for several Japanese bands.

Do directors count? If so, I love Spike Jonze. His work is simply wonderful. Just watch Being John Malkovich, Adaptation., and Where the Wild Things Are.

Zdzislaw Beksinski, H.R. Giger, Joel-Peter Witkin, Theodor Kittelsen, Hieronymus Bosch, and the slew of artists promoted by that "Macabre and Beautifully Grotesque" group on Facebook.

I'm really into old school black/white drawings like those of Mark Riddick, Matt Putrid Carr or Chris Moyen. Maybe not so much as album covers, but as t-shirt artwork and stuff like that it's phenomenal

Make sure to get the Chris Moyen Thorncross book its kickass!

Also just watched Waking Life for the 2nd time and it kicked my ass, that movie is great from the production style to the content, mindblowing. Richard Linklater.

Hey, I think I've seen one similar to that in Cologne. Need too take a picture next time.

That actually depends on which country you're in. In Denmark any portrayal of underage children in suggestive poses and such are considered child pornography, even if drawn, painted, animated or otherwise.
