The dude is 50 and he still flies around like he's 30. Then again, in Japan, older wrestlers have more leeway to stick around as opposed to in America. Muta, Minoru Suzuki, Jinsei Shinzaki, Great Sasuke, and Kenta Kobashi are all either 50 or about to get there and they're still active performers.

Hahaha no, not really. I was expecting long hair though. And definitely not someone so clean cut and "jockish".

I have to say I was expecting long hair, too. Long black hair. Can't really say why, but .. I'm in camp "Imagined kvlt" also.

edit(s): It's pretty crazy how Subrick has this odd "shifting age" aspect. Definitely one of the most variable of the people posted here.

Considering tomcat is basically a stick in a leather jacket, yeah probably. Steel Strap dude has too much booty.

The background in that photo looks like one of those tilt-frame fake miniature photos, which makes me assume that after this photo was taken you went hand-in-hand stomping all over those tiny buildings.

Hah! Your comment is made better when you know that the building in the middle is one of the tallest buildings in North America west of Chicago. :P

Also tomcat, what's that mysterious bottle you have in that second picture? Looks like something above 80 proof, I must identify.

When did you take those photos, The Lions Den? I have a friend who was just in Rome and took a picture from almost the exact same spot as that second picture. Woulda freaked me out if you were in her photo or she was in yours.

Nope. That's not a 4x12 btw. It's one of those crappy 4x10 MG cabinets. That's why I use a 2x12 V30 cab. Sounds fine.

 It looks slanted for some reason, so I thought it was a 4x12 A cab. The point is, though, that Marshall tone = r0x0rz, whereas Mesa tone = sux0rz.

I use a 2x12 V30 cab as well, but I've turned it on its side. It's more directional, which can either be good or bad.

It looks slanted because it is.
And the reason I don't own a marshall is because I can't afford it, so I bought one of those crappy Mesas. Certainly not because I like how it sounds.
And of course, if I had a Marshall, I would have to use my Gibson with it. Everybody knows thats the only way to get a good tone. Doesn't matter which Marshall or Gibson. Gibson+Marshall=godly tone.
And make sure you use an actual Marshall cabinet with it. The one that matches the top. Because if you don't, your tone still sucks.

Of course it doesn't matter what Gibson. Whatever it is, if it's plugged into a Marshall, it sounds godly.

Now Mesa is good too, sure. For that extra 1000€ compared to a JCM, you get that Rectifier sound that's really big and has huge bottom end. And the tone is really, really big. Lots and lots of that huge, fat bottom end. No pedals needed. Really big tone.

The unfortunate thing is that your other guitarist will also have to invest that extra 1000€ to a Rectifier, because otherwise whatever he's playing through will make you disappear up your own huge bottom end. Or, umm, you need those pedals.

Best played through a Mahogany Ibanez with some DiMarzio with a huge mid-scoop in the bridge. For that big, fat tone.

Or, you can do like I do, and put it on vintage mode and turn some knobs.
