I dislike smartphones at concerts for many reasons, but there's one great thing about that pic. No couples cuddling. Here in America a Behemoth show is an open invitation for snuggles (even at the front).

I don't have one, because I can't stand wearing any kind of headgear. Messes my glorious hair up. It's impossible to see in the picture, but my hair goes about a third of the way down my back.

EDIT: Also, if I did like wearing hats, I wouldn't get a fedora. I'd probably get like a Russian fur cap or something like that.

This is almost a year old pic of me at Meshuggah when they were doing the 25 year anniversary summer tour in the states. I'm the one with the closed eyes (swear to you I'm not fucked up on anything). Denver's local newspaper took it and wrote a rather positive review about the show.

Damn MBA doesn't look like I thought he would at all . I always like having a face for the name, interesting to see what people actually look like compared to what you picture them as too.

Only with a manageable kit size and much better technique.

We're moving to paint for most shows at this point, if not every show. I was so happy with the job our makeup artist did on Saturday that I'm considering learning how to do the design myself so I can do it when he's not there. Helps too that the paint is a pre-existing design; it's from a Japanese wrestler by the name of Jushin Liger. At a few points in his career during particularly hard fought, he's "transformed" mid-match into a new character called Kishin Liger. He wears corpse paint and uses weapons during matches.

As somebody who knows his wrestling, I'm actually blown away you'd call it "corpse paint". Though I will admit that the first time he did that against The Great Muta was pretty much the greatest moment in the history of wrestling.

Also he has the most bitching theme song of all time. It makes me wanna go go-karting.
