Believe it or not, the only reason I remembered that is because I was just updating Overkill's page the other night and when you Google "Overkill The Killing Kind" your picture pops up at some point.

Also, haven't posted in a year or something like that, so here's one. I went to the Oregon coast for the first time, after moving to Portland. Was a lovely trip.

Your head is basically life-sized there. Markov posters for the ladies! What's Portland like for metal, btw? I don't know much about the scene in the Northwest.

It's pretty good. The metal-scene isn't really apparent, just Agalloch and some scarce black/death metal bands. Shroud of The Heretic/Symptom are great ones to catch up. I also live right next to where Parasitic Records drops off all of his records, so that's nice.

Sweetwater (big music gear website) Gear Fest expo in Indiana. Shitload of music industry speakers there for the weekend including Devin - The guys before us had taken a goofy guitar-wielding picture with him, so I came up and said "Alright, let's do a comparatively boring side-by-side pic," and he said, "Right, so look bored as possible?" Thus our look. He was really friendly and cool but I haven't listened to his music extensively so I didn't have any burning fan questions...So after the picture I just stood there awkwardly for a few seconds and said, "So yeah, uh...thanks!" and walked off. And I think he asked me if he could see how the pic turned out as I was walking away but I didn't realize it till after the fact, so I hope he didn't think I was spacey or a huge dick.

Seriously though, super jealous. Less so now that I know you're in Indiana and it's not something just up the road that I could've easily been in attendance for. Still jealous as hell though.

Oh yeah, I definitely would have told all my local metal friends if he was in the area. I was only there on account of some friends who are really into synths/pro audio who bought the idea up to make a big weekend road trip out of it, and it just happened to turn out Devin Townsend was there.

Oh dude, I get that too, if it's just a bit humid out. I call it a "ghost afro". I just rock that shit, I don't care. I think maybe my phone's camera is too shit for it to come through in that photo but I'm sure there's one going on. To be honest I use Head & Shoulders. I've never had a dandruff problem I just love the way it smells. I went about 2 years without using conditioner and just bought a new bottle. Some kind of Garnier Fructis something or other...once again I just choose based on smell. I left a bunch in the drain the other day and my room mate thought it was splooge. I was like "Nah man, that would be rude!" My hair is very low maintenance for how retardedly long it is. I'm trying to get myself psyched up for a trim, try to get it back up to about man-boob length.
