I doubt Allball died, just removed for the experiment.

They shouldn't mess with the gorilla's emotions as it's already at a disadvantage being out of it's natural habitat. Eventually it will become confused and distressed with all the mind games (hal9000 an entity, albeit fictional, incapable of processing deceit, was lied to with catastrophic consequences) and retreat inwardly until it pines away.
Wouldn't further observations be skewed by this fact? I hope the "experts" know what they're doing.

At least let him sleep under the stars at night, not shut away in a house type dwelling.

WHAT...THE...FUCK...

I am completely scared of spider webs. Not the critters, their webs. I would be going completely nuts.

An even bigger web, in Texas.

Just throw a burning packet of matches at it. Problem solved. Don't let Eight Legged Freaks become reality.

Man, don't let them fuck up your electrical wiring. I have seen a national geographic documentary about that. Big, big fire.....

Did not know they could do that. It seems the nest is actually inside the walls, so I can't really get to it directly.

Well, it depends on what kind of ants they are. I heard that fire ants can cause some electrical trouble. For some reason they are attracted to it, something about "eddy currents" Just read this:

Spoiler: show
In a heavily fire ant infested region, one of the main problems occur in electrical transformers, switch boxes, electrical conduits and outlets, etc. Electricity flowing through a wire produces what is called “eddy currents”. This is an energy field surrounding the wire that carries the electricity. Ants are attracted to this environment to gain energy from the eddy currents. They will pack themselves into electrical boxes until they literally short the circuit out with electricity flowing through a mass of fire ants. This not only kills the ants but the short circuit will destroy the appliance that they are in. The fire ants will literally remove the insulation from the electrical connections.

But yeah, I did not mean to worry you.

That's intense. But nah, you didn't worry me as much as, say, this article: http://www.cracked.com/blog/6-reasons-w ... ared-ants/

Some more spiders for ya. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin's_bark_spider

Its silk is the toughest biological material ever studied, over ten times tougher than a similarly-sized piece of Kevlar. They also build freakingly huge webs. It's also though to be able to catch birds.

The spider wasp finds a spider or even a tarantula, paralyzes it, captures it, builds a borrow in front of it, and lays an egg on it's abdomen. Then, the larvae hatch and eat the spider alive, starting with the nonvital organs, eventually killing it slowly and painfully, at which point the cycle repeats itself.

You want pest stories? I've got an infestation of centipedes and no idea where they're coming from. Waking up with one of those bastards six inches from your face on the pillow isn't fun. Damn things are like 4 inches long. And red, so they're probably poisonous. *hatecentipedeshatecentipedeshatecentipedes*

That's fucked dude. I would probably crap my pants if I woke up to those things in my face.

Well, they seem to be coming in from the garden and not anywhere in my bedroom, so I stuck a load of books in front of my door and over the drains in my bathroom. And I think they're after food, so I took all my plates out of my room. No centipedes last night! :-D

Now that you won't leave offerings for them, they'll go after the next edible thing in the house; you.

Sleep tight!

You have just inspired a Dethklok song. Now I just have to write lyrics and send them to Brendan Small. I shall expect 99.9999% of all his royalties for this service.

Love animals... here's some odd specimens.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goblin_shark

Its a shark.... with a fucking saw on its head.... just... awesome

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_Isopod

This thing is related to the rather ordinary crustaecaen, the isopod, but its HUGE!!!! They can grow up to fourteen inches long and they feed on dead whales.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angora_rabbit

What a weird looking pet. Its like a shaggy dog, but its a rabbit. And make no mistake... it is AWESOME

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hagfish

Ugly motherfuckers. They tie themselves into knots to escape prey. Apparently some cultures eat the disgusting things.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aye_Aye

Native to Madagascar. They're the world's largest nocturnal primate, which is weird considering how small they are. NOthing much special to them, just freaky looking.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeti_Crab

Crabs... with poisonous hair....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cymothoa_exigua

A crazy little fucker that extracts blood from the tongues of fish.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus_Christ_Lizard

Lizards that can run on fucking water. I think this is just the epitome of strange, watch some videos if you're interested.... its crazy to watch their legs actually keep them above the surface of the water.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_spider_crab

A crab with disproportionately long legs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Horse

The winner for the strangest animal for me... why you may ask? Because MALE SEAHORSES get PREGNANT!!!! As to how that works, apparently during mating the female exposes her oviduct to the male (and the mating process lasts about fourteen seconds, I guess the males just have no endurance) exposing several eggs ,who fertilizes them, and then the female places the egg into a special structure on in the male called the brooding pouch, which will nurse the eggs (which, in some species of sea horse, can be up to 200 FUCKING EGGS!) and will literally shoot them out of his brooding pouch when they are finished developing, also sea horses are monogamous.

Recently I have watched movie The Hunter in which a mercenary (Willem Dafoe) was sent to the Tasmanian wilderness on a hunt for Tasmanian tiger.

This cute animal captivated me a lot and I was wondering whether he still ranges somewhere at that region.

I started getting chills when I read this. I have a terrible, terrible phobia of centipedes; it's really band, I can't even see pictures of them. Not the ones you find outside digging in the garden or the foot-longs you find in the Amazon, it's the ones you find in your house, the little furry-looking guys. I seriously can't be anywhere near them, and refuse to go into a room where I think I saw one (recently). Millipedes however, are awesome. There's some just so peaceful about how their legs move with that rippling motion. It almost looks like they hover. I'd post a sweet picture of one but the risk of seeing a common house centipede is simply a risk I cannot afford to take.

Amazing how these beasts remain calm even after horrific injuries.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10QFwZdl ... re=related

Even more horrible, I'v seen a lioness' face literally ripped off by a hippo on National Geographic (can't find a video of it anywhere). Her nose and jaws were dangling to the ground, only barely hanging by bits of her ripped skin. The lion then calmly went to an edge of a river for a drink, in which she obviously couldn't. Don't fuck with hippos. I had nightmares for the next few days.
