The First Salvos have been traded in The Great War of Genre Capitalization. The situation is going to get hairy, as both Sides/sides take their postions, and fly their Sorties and drop thier Loads, and there will probably be Collateral Damage. The neutrals will simply wonder what the Fuck is going on.

I tend to capitalize the first word of the metal genre, eg. Melodic death metal, Symphonic black metal, Doom metal. It just looks better to me.

Also, I don't capitalize "metal" unless there are other big genres capitalized, eg. "I think that metal is cool.","I think that Metal is cooler than Rock." Even in the latter example, I wouldn't capitalize rock most of the time.

Our cats are awesome. I mean we provide them with shelter, feed them, keep them parasite free and generally are concerned with their well being. They on the other hand reward our attentions with sleeping in our clean washing, leaving tumbleweeds of fur all through the house, SHITTING AND PISSING all over the laundry floor, and generally treating us like staff.

CrushedRevelation, if they are shitting and pissing everywhere you don't want them to they are clearly not happy with what you supplied as their litter box. Cats don't just shit and piss on the floor like idiot dogs. It's usually your fault on a caretaker of these animals.

In all my years of owning cats never had anything such as you describe... except for the hair at first... that can be corrected with a bit of brushing on your part to get rid of their loose fur. If you don't want them sleeping in the clean laundry you haven't supplied them with suitable bedding elsewhere.

it pretty much all falls back on you and your wife. Maybe pick up a cat care book. it's a little more involved than just feeding them food and forgetting about them for the rest of the day.

i always capitalized genres cause i've always seen them as titles, didn't know it was a big deal, descriptors-no.....ex. melodic Death Metal, symphonic Power Metal.....that always seemed dumb to me heh

My post was borne out of a humorous frustration (and slight exaggeration) with our two furballs. More tongue in cheek than actual seriousness. My missus treats them like her two spoilt children.

as well they should be... but still usually cats don't respond to spoilt treatment as such. I still think you should look into seeing about getting further advice on how to make their lives more comfortable.
