Nah, you can't. He's hormonized, you can see it in his veins and his skin. Test + HGH has that effect on a lot of guys. Take this guy for example. That is Swiper, a well known poster on a number of hardcore bodybuilding forums. He follows a year round drug regimen of weekly testosterone (up to three grams a week) and daily HGH (up to 10 IUS/day) with added orals here and there. Notice any similarities?

Look at the guy's delts for example, they pop, and the skin is stretched tight showing significant vascularity and hardness, this doesn't happen naturally. Just compare him to the old time legends from the late 1800s and early 1900s, then compare him to a more modern bodybuilder and take note of the similarities.

I have nothing against guys who want to take their physique and/or strength to the next level, but I do get annoyed at how reluctant they often are to admit they aren't natural.

In what sane world do they think that that even looks good or is remotely attractive? I agree with you that all this is not achievable if one has to take the au naturale route. I have an acquaintance who's into the whole body building scene and I've seen videos of him lifting spherical boulders, truck tires etc. He's not nearly as vein-popping-buffed as these guys and to the best of my knowledge, he's quite clean (no artificial enhancers) in that sense. Bleh, testosteronetards.

A friend of mine overheard some guys laughing at a funeral doom band's lead singer jumping off a bridge the day after their album was released. Anyone know what band that could be? If it's any at all...

Saw this in AtheistForums.com, and well, I'd be lying if I say that I'm shocked. These people hold the same ideology as the institution who saw it fit to relocate and hide pedophiles from authorities instead of protecting their underage members from them.

Worship.

I didn't know that even though I have listened to them before. Interesting bit of trivia that.

What we have here are catholic hospitals denying morning after pills to rape victims and the church controlling that policy with malingers. And we are talking about largely state funded hospitals (the church doesn't want the public to know that fact since providing social infrastructure is one of their big selling points).

The punchline is of course that they don't want to kill zygotes because "it's people".

Was there ever a bootleg release with the same tracks as Mayhem's out from the dark, except under a different name? I know out from the dark was never released on CD.

Reissues of In Solitude's self-titled album and Septicflesh's Mystic Places of Dawn?

Only if I must.

I always laugh when someone mentions Dr. Pepper. I had a friend that, one night during our many drunken escapades, flopped into the backseat of my friend's car while we were on our way to get some fast food. He was wasted and started freaking out about going to jail or something, and while he was talking he yelled "I'M LIKE DR. PEPPER, I GOT 23 FLAVORS!" And then he passed out.

So I'm thinking about securing myself one of these: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gcw ... g-handheld

A bit of digging in forums reveals that this could easily become the best of it's segment (open handhelds under $200 that is). Seems like it will be able to run n64 and PSX.

The +$20 shipping to Europe kinda sucks though.

Edit: This is the second time this week I mix up the Video Game Thread and the FFA. Oh well. Whatever. At least I'm not off topic.

Bad Religion, it seems you've done it again. For Dissent of Man, they released "The Resist Stance" first and got me totally hyped for the album. Lo and behold, it's one of the three or four good songs on the album. Now they release True North, and release "Fuck You" first and once again got me totally psyched for it. And this time even the marketing was making me salivate. "We're back in the mindset that we were in around Suffer and No Control, this is all fast and rough like the old days", "No songs over three minutes, most of them are under two". Then I finally get it and... well the average track length is over two minutes (one is almost four), and so far a whole two songs sound like they're in the spirit of their heyday, where everything else is the typical post-The Empire Strikes First sound they've had for a decade now.

Fool me once...

Actually now that it's almost done I can say that the second half is pretty good. "Nothing to Dismay" is awesome, as are "Vanity", "My Head is Full of Ghosts", and "The Island". HERE are all the songs they were talking about, the album is just front loaded with their softer stuff.

I imagine being a medical professional in any religious part of the world must suck though.

So you've studied your adolescence away while others partied carelessly, the burden of responsibility weighs heavily upon your shoulders everyday,
one wrong move and your hand will end the life of another, yet what's the first thing you hear as you emerge from many a gruelling hour in the surgery room?

"The surgery was a success? Oh thank you god! Our prayers where answered! Hallelujah!"

Actually....that story was about them not wanting to take blame for the fetuses' deaths because they weren't people. So, yeah, just what the Church needs! Some people cutting back on dogma and integrity for the sake of money...I think Jesus said a few things about that before...

Also, the Church (outside of birth control, for the most part - I'll give you that) has been extremely active in dispelling rumors of prayer as a substitute for medicine....I mean, the Anglican and Catholic churches have been working their asses off in Africa changing the entire tide. As this is a place where people believe they should cut up albinos for fucking medicinal remedies and pull demons out of gay people....

Generator.

Generator is a great one, yes. My favorites are No Control and Against the Grain, but the four albums spanning Suffer through Generator is a classic. If you don't like those, I wouldn't suggest much else other than The Gray Race or New Maps of Hell. Actually that last one wouldn't be a bad place to start either, since its their heaviest with some complexity, so its easier for metal fans to appreciate.

Short answer: No Control/Against the Grain, or New Maps of Hell.

I've only heard one Bad Religion song in my life: "You". And that is due to playing the shit out of Tony Hawks Pro Skater back in the day, I think it was II. Anyway, I really like that song so perhaps I should check out some more of the band.

I meant nothing past 2006. I love the second one but I'd probably give the edge to the first.
