If I want pancakes, I'll have some bloody pancakes, not some half-assed copy of them! And waffles are better than you, Lex! YOU ARE AFRAID OF YOURSELF!!!

Give me a Aussie meat pie over crepes or waffles...

And Xlxlx re Bodies. I personally think that track in particular seems to ruin the dark flow that the opener and Anything create. It just seems out of place, and rather weak.

I actually find Bodies be perfectly placed, as it gives you some room to breathe before the desolate titletrack takes place and covers everything in a ten mile radius in shadow and ashes. But hey, you know what they say about perspectives!

It depends. Are we talking the big, fluffy, chewy Belgian waffles? Because if we're talking those crepes can go home.

Aren't all waffles puffy and chewy? Or maybe all the ones served here in Argentina are.....

Eggo Waffles are generally pretty lame and pale in comparison. They're a mass produced storebought brand.

Never stumbled upon them here, then. Every waffle I ever had was a piece of spongy goodness covered with dulce de leche and ice cream which was worthy of the Gods of Confectionery.

Speaking of the almighty lord bacon, chopped bacon in pancakes is fantastic. Even better if you cook the pancakes in the leftover bacon grease :D

I can't think of anything bacon doesn't go well with.

Believe it or not, bacon ice cream is delicious. A shop I used to frequent in Seattle had it for a short while.

If the bacon is candied with brown sugar and maple syrup, then surely it's delicious.

That being said, you assholes don't like Neutral Milk Hotel? Jesus H. Christ. Aeroplane is legitimately one of the greatest albums of all time.

whoa der.

I said I liked "Satan's Fall" and to be fair, to be fair, that's a longer song.

Also, we're not even fucking comparing MF/KD to Mangum and crew....completely different shit.

I think it would be better to phrase it as most metalheads 'would not hate' rather than 'would like' MF/KD. I'm pretty much indifferent to most of KD stuff. I appreciate some songs of MF though.

Well guys here's my little run I had with George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. The only good thing to come out of this stifling loss.

Did you check out Attic? I did recently and they seem pretty enjoyable. It's not perfect worship though, they have strong leanings towards power metal.

Shoddy sound quality, but this is a BRAND NEW MY BLOODY VALENTINE SONG the band performed on their warm up show last night for the Japanese tour. Kevin Shields (sarcastically it sounded like) also said the new album should be out in 2-3 days. With the shit that goes on with this band I doubt it will ever come out, but this new song sounds cool nonetheless. I've had my ticket to see them in London Hammersmith Apollo for months now, really excited for March.

Well, we have had record heat waves, associated bush fires, deaths and damage with said heat wave, and now southern Queensland (again!!), and a good portion of the New South Wales coastal/river areas are inundated with severe flooding. It's pelting with rain here at the moment, and we're hoping our local storm-water run off system can handles the massive influx of water this deluge is creating.

Gotta love Australia sometimes.
