^ With ramen? Interesting. Do you cook the ramen in that sauce or do you add it on cooked ramen?

Do you guys ever see something in real life and think "is that where those lyrics came from"? I only ask because I was in the shower earlier washing my shins and the pattern the water formed by wet hair looked a lot like tiger stripes. So maybe Holy Diver is really about singing in the shower? What do you guys think?

Damn, dude... How hairy are your legs?
I bet they'd be good with Sriracha.

That is what I think.

Also, yes, it goes on everything. Pizza. Ramen. Ham steaks. Chips. Freezer-burnt microwaveable Mexican food.
EVERYTHING.

I like to make ramen a bit more interesting by adding Sriracha, a tiny dash of 5 spice, a little onion powder and some curry powder.

AGES AGO, SISTA.

But I didn't mean for that to have a sexual connotation, I was just trying to force weirdness. It seldom works...

Sure, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but there's no need to shit on such a great album, one of my top 10 metal albums in my opinion.

There is no need per se, yes, but as long as the guy backs his criticisms in a reasonable way, I'd say there is no problem. That's your bias talking, Jack.

Fuck, Bolt Thrower and Autopsy are playing a show here in Oakland in May but I'm stuck in residential rehab and the curfew is 10 pm. See what doing drugs makes you miss out on kids?

Have a nice Saint Valentine's Day.

I hope every single one of you gets a dildo form your respective significant other.

Ramen is great with some miso, chopped vegetables, and Sriracha. Also I recently had Melinda's Scotch Bonnet sauce on grilled and seasoned chicken wings. The stuff is delicious, my mouth is watering thinking of it.

Anyone like jerk? I can put that on almost anything. I haven't put it on seafood though....

Ramen may be the best soup ever, yes. Sriracha is fucking great on absolutely everything. I like that stuff so much that I put it on anything. Once had some vanilla icecream with sriracha and it rocked. You should try it!

Well, this is pretty much bonkers, but I think it'll be something with Heaven or Vultures, since the 'Hollow' artwork involves a weird two-headed crow or bird resembling the pentagram or something like that.

It's been officially revealed as The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.

I like it the more and more I think about it. It's an odd title for a band that was always a bit out there, even among their peers at the height of their popularity twenty years ago. The jab at the creationist mythos is a nice touch, too. So much more preferable to me than a simple one or two-worded phrase that's intentionally vague and "open to interpretation." That's been done to death already by a multitude of bands over the years and it's not bound to change anytime soon regardless. Either that or yet another self-referential title alluding to Layne Staley's passing. Once was enough and it was a reverent nod to his absence. Anything more than that is just unnecessary now.

That's a seriously strange album title. Even if Alice in Chains are indeed a bit more "out there" than their peers (as Modus already stated), that sounds more like something an avant-garde band would use, or hell, perhaps what would come out of a preachy, bigoted religious outfit during a particularly self-righteous stream of thought. Yeah, I get that it's supposed to be ironic, but still. I don't mind it though, and I'll gladly await its release.

I put Sriracha on everything as well. Recently I've tried it with egg nog and chocolate ice cream and they both tasted great. The key to incorporating Sriracha with sweet stuff is not to overdo it, there's a fine line. You want the chili sauce to give it a little kick but not dominate over the sweetness of whatever you're adding it to. Yes, I am most definitely a Sriracha fiend.

That's a pretty awesome title, nicely ironic and doesn't sound generic like a lot of older bands end up doing with new album titles. Good to see they're still putting effort into it, though I still haven't actually heard the single off of this. Or anything after Staley died, for that matter.

Another one in the Sriracha camp here. PROTIP: Pimp out your sandwiches by combining Sriracha and mayo.

You should listen to Black Gives Way to Blue ASAP, Emp. It's a great album, full of catchy, heavy as hell riffs, a beautiful use of acoustics, great contrasts, and haunting vocal work.

Here's one for the sriracha crew: get some hot pepperoni sticks, make a corn batter and deep fry them like corn dogs. Serve with a generous amount of sriracha. BOOM, welcome to flavour country.

Also, shout out to gochujang. Less versatile that sriracha but quite delicious.

Siracha mixed in with marscapone cheese, fresh mozerella, and smoked ham. put that shit on home-made pizza dough (preferably a heavy wheat/grainy crust) and you will FUCK YOUR MOUTH WITH FLAVOR.

Well, Cradle of Filth cancelled their U.S. tour. I was thinking of not seeing them, but unfortunately, I just bought my ticket Monday. I've never worked out a refund with Tickets.com, I'm hoping that goes smoothly. Ticket Master makes it so easy.

On the bright side, I found my Maiden cassettes today and made some tasty kombu soup for lunch. Also, I realised that the best way to rewind an Iron Maiden tape is to listen to the other side.

I don't listen to much Alice in Chains, but I do like a lot of their songs (they're definitely more of a 'song' band than an albums band, for me, anyway). But their new stuff just seems rather lacking... and it's not just that Layne's not there. It basically sounds like Jerry's solo stuff, but a little more hollow (for once, no pun intended!).

I was way off. In the back of my mind I knew it was going to be a five word title like Black Gives Way to Blue.
I knew there was a 'the' in there by the amount of 'e's and the two 't's. It's such a strange title that I doubt
anyone came close and if they did they would have been laughed at. I probably wouldn't have bothered If I had known
they were going to reveal it so quickly.

1) LEONARDDDDDDDD

http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-trian ... t-got-real

2) Y'all made me get a bottle of sriracha in awhile and I ended up sauteeing meatless steak tips with it just to see if those things might be any good (hey, wife is vegetarian, gotta be innovative) and SURPRISE it was great. Especially with some kosher salt. SRIRACHA. YES.

So I've been listening to two early Nuclear Assault albums (Survive and The Plague) and then I jumped many years and listened to Third World Genocide, their 2005 album. I think it's safe to say...what the fuck happened to this highly underrated thrash/crossover band?!

Isn't there any way at all you could possibly convince the rehab center that you are in fact staying the night at a distant relative's place? Of course that story would be bullshit, but how would they know? Especially if you can get said relative to confirm your alibi.

What if you are late for the curfew? Surely the punishment can't be THAT bad considering it's BOLT THROWER AND AUTOPSY...
