I just saw them for the first time at the electric factory in Philly, it was awesome but they only played for an hour. I think they're above coheadlining with two other bands. I want to see them play by themselves or with Steven Wilson or something.

They will come back soon as a full headliner, I skipped this tour since the setlist was meh and too short and I've seen them twice already. Yeah, a tour with SW or Porcupine Tree would be nice.

I think their next tour will be in Europe only but who knows.

Agreed Iamthebatman, like I said above, he's not really an expert, I would probably say he isn't even an expert on hamburgers either!!!! I would say Don Jamieson is the best on the show because he has pushed bands like Six Feet Under and other notable extreme/thrash metal acts!!!!!

I wouldn't normally ask such questions, but you seem really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about guitar and bass, and I've been wondering this for a while, so here goes:

If I'm going bass fishing, what equipment should I use, and how do I choose the best spot? I've been wanting to get into bass fishing for a while, but there are a lot of entry-level barriers that are stopping me.

I don't know much about bass fishing, but from what I know you need to go on a bass boat, and find a place in the middle of any waterway where the bass can hide and have food, I don't know much other than that!!!! What I meant about bass, was bass guitar, but thank you for clarifying that to me CardsOfWar!!!! The way I said it might be confusing to some!!!!

Hello! Decided that it was time to quit lurking after all this time.

I'm Canadian and 22 years of age, but temporarily living in London while getting my Masters degree in classical piano performance. I discovered metal quite accidentally at the age of 11, after a childhood of being forbidden to listen to anything but classical music (and not much else in between). It's been a lost cause ever since. Black, death, and doom are usually my go-to subgenres- but I find my tastes quite broad nevertheless. I will most likely start my own music project at some point, when the demands of school are over and done with.
On the side, I am also a working fashion and portrait photographer.

Hello everybody, I'm from a sad, lonely, one metalhead town (in the true north strong and freeee). I have a reasonably varied taste in metal, my favorite subgenres are crossover, thrash and folk. It's hard choosing favorites but I would say some of my favorite bands are Voivod, Darkthrone, Skyclad (and Sabbat), D.R.I. and Bathory. I have a crushing fear of rejection but a good sense of humor. I'm half native and live on a reserve.

So yeah, I've been using this site for almost a year, but it wasn't until now that I finally decided to sign up (I'm a lazy bastard)
I like all sorts of stuff, but among them are doom, stoner, death, traditional, thrash and black metal. I also enjoy all sorts of rock.

I play the guitar and I'm so-so at it, but it's a blast! Besides that I don't know what else to say, but I hope we can be friends!

I am a bloke living in Northern Finland in his mid-thirties. I play bass and have done a few albums and toured a bit. I am old school kinda guy, don't care about thrash, death, black or what have you, I'm into traditional heavy metal, doom and nwobhm. That is not to say I consider every new thing that's come out past the break-up of Venom's original lineup to be shit though, just vast majority of it.
