You took a smaller shutter speed for the third one, right?

These photos are epic indeed. Amazing for everyone to share their photography! And the Norway landscapes are particularly awe-inspiring. Wish I had an opportunity to see sights as such when I was in Denmark!

This is stunning. Does anyone have any photographs of places outside of western civilization, like from Africa or Asia?

Turkey is pretty westernized, but here are a few pictures from there:

Wow great photos everyone! Norway and Finland (I'm assuming Sweden aswell) look alot like Northern Canada for sure :) I actually had to look where 666Emperor666 was from because it looks like those pictures could have been taken all within a half hour drive of my house.

This is all I've got:

Everything I've seen here so far has been pretty impressive, actually.

EDIT: I really wish these damn power line towers didn't have to be so close to my house. They subtract from the "rural" vibe around here.

Man that completely sucks. Whoever erected that tower better be providing monetary compensation for when you sell that house, it has to be killing you on property value in that area.

haha

I don't know if I confused you, but I took this picture FROM my house- I'm not unfortunate enough to be living in the one right next to the tower. Still, it makes me uneasy just thinking about the health problems the radiation might cost me in the future.

nice photos, I'll probably take my camera up north with me soon for some desert snaps, maybe. Norway looks brilliant (rather keen for my visit there) but fjords and snowy forests do sort of, eventually get a bit old. Well not really  but some variety would be nice.

yeah, but I'd imagine they dont have much of forests or snowy fjords down in Australia...

They always show Australia on TV as being sort of a big, flat desert (like in those "Mad Max" movies) but I am sure there are lots of pretty scenic, neat looking places down there- I would like to see some pics.

WA is generally big and flat, we have a few little hills with some decent views but nothing hugely exciting. Next time I'm heading to the south coast I'll get some footage of the Karri forests; that's some really pretty stuff. WA has amazing waves and I enjoy the desert and isolation but for scenery there's a lot of better places in the world, for sure.

Great photos. I could so easily move to Norway. It is certainly an option once I finish my degree, haha.

I found some pics from Malta, which were taken about 4 years ago.

Sunrise from an airplane:
Image

Two pics of the Blue Grotto, an amazing place with majestic cliffs, and underwater caves:
Image

Image

As you can see there isn't really much nature left in Malta, since it's so small most of it is built up already:

well, we do have some pretty spectacular scenery around the place. Ningaloo reef, the kimberley gorges, the kalbarri gorges, karri forest, that place near Broken Hill in NSW that is so flat and barren you can see the curvature of the Earth, the desert (the landscape around Kalgoorlie is really nice and tranquil in winter), the Daintree, the Brisbane rainforest, most of Tasmania, the beaches around Esperance, the completely stunning star coverage in the middle of the desert, etc etc etc etc. Probably a far bit more stuff to look at then Norway really, which has fjords, forests and snow and pretty much nothing else at all.

I'll post some photos, just give me a few weeks! I've been meaning to hit up the ningaloo again anyway and might do that on my next break, money depending of course.

I lived there at one point in time. If you want some stunning scenery, Tasmania is certainly the place to go. For a time during my childhood, I used to live near this town called Stanley (Northwest). The most picturesque and tranquil place I've ever visited. Definitely a picture or two was taken when I went back there for a visit in 2008, not sure where my pictures are though :/

I also had some nice photos of a swamp about 12km away from where I live, but sadly they got lost when my old computer collapsed.
