Ah yes, Capitola. I used to live there, once a long time ago. More recently, a couple winters back when I was visiting, I took some pictures in the nearby Nisene Marks Redwood State Park, right when the fog rolled in and it got really eerie in an almost northern forest black metal kind of way. Hopefully I'll be able to post them soon, as I haven't posted any pics in a long while since Photobucket went to a $400 per year pay site and nuked everyone's stuff. It's an awesome area to explore and photograph.

I remember when we were kids, they were offering tours of that historic fort near the base of the Golden Gate bridge, and we checked it out. It's an old Civil War- era military installation.
