Anyone else like this type of punk music? I think bands like leftover crack, morning glory and star fucking hipsters are amazing. Fuck World Trade is personally my favorite punk album.

Only one of those bands I've heard is Leftover Crack, but Mediocre Generica is solid punk, at least as far as I can tell. I like it.

Crack Rock Steady is sort of a blend between Crust Punk, Ska, Rocksteady all used -sometimes- with harsh vocals. Aggressive, and catchy as fuck.

I love this stuff, and I made a thread about it a while ago.

I've seen Leftover Crack live with Citizen Fish, and I met CF's trumpet player before the show. But yeah, Leftover Crack, Chocking Victim, Lo Ca$h, Citizen Fish, The Crack Rock Steady Seven, Morning Glory, and Mouth Sewn Shut(allthough not entrely connected with the scene) are all great bands. Shoot the Kids at School and Squatta's Paradise are two killer albums.

A ska punk band choking victim ( later to become leftover crack) started calling their style of music crack rock steady. It is basically ska, normal punk, crust punk and a little bit of death/black metal. Alot of the songs are about squating, smoking crack, drinking 40s and politics. Uhhh yeah they got the crack part because they all smoked crack  Its some of the best punk music ive heard. Some good bands are:
Choking victim
leftover crack
morning glory
no cash
star fucking hipsters
INDK
world/inferno freindship society
stockyard stoics
the stupid stupid henchmen

I've been a fan of Leftover Crack and Choking Victim for awhile. There are some awesome songs between those two bands. I'll have to check out some of the others mentioned in this thread.

I'm surprised at myself for liking their particular blend of punk. Most of the punk I like is old school 70's/80's stuff and some hardcore. I'm not a big fan of crust and I hate ska, but I enjoy the hell out of Leftover Crack and Choking Victim. It must be the way they blend the elements together

Hmm I have the Choking Victim song "Infested" from that Give 'Em the Boot Hepcat Records sampler thing that I bought in...1997? I don't think I've even listened to it since then. I'll have to give it a go.

No Gods, No Managers is a punk masterpiece. And I really like everything I've heard from LoC.

I'm completely unfamiliar with this genre, but a local band called "Leper" seem to fit the bill. It's basically crust with ska sections, and has members of Iskra in the band.
