There is a Russian band "СРУБ" ("Stump"), making waves in the local underground. They combine dark slavic folkloric elements with pulsating Sister of Mercy-ish sound, which brings about a very dreary atmosphere.










Are there similar bands in other countries sharing a similar aesthetic, but adding their own folkish colouring?
