Does anyone here have experience using Amazon Japan for paid mp3s? I'm signed up to it with a British card after a bit of back and forth with Google Translate, but it flat refuses to let me purchase anything. Quite frustrating. Thought some of the other metallic Japanophiles here might be more familiar with the digital music service on there and the payment system in general, which seems a bit shaky for international payments. Any troubleshooting much appreciated, thanks in advance

I can't offer you any help other than my sympathy mate. I just spent two hours last night doing the same thing only on a Chinese site trying to buy a cd. I have no idea whether or not I succeeded though but they did manage to take my money so we'll see what happens.

Hrm, I've never actually bought any mp3 from there (or anywhere period, actually), but I was under the impression that mp3s there were for sale only within Japan.

[edit] Yeah, you may want to read this:
"Q: I live outside Japan. Can I order MP3s from your site?

A: Sorry. At this stage we only accept MP3 orders from customers living in Japan."
