After an almost flawless tournament, Alliance made it! Did you see it? Any comments about games and Dota 2 in general?

I loved seeing Sweden's Alliance make it all the way to the end and win $1.4 mil. Pretty funny how Alliance kicked out EternalEnvy (when the team was known as No Tidehunter) and then almost instantly became one of the best teams in the world.

Anyone who doubts competitive video games should take a look at TI3. Amazing atmosphere, energy, and excitement from the crowd. You could really appreciate the top level play from the teams. Solid work from the analysis table and casters as well. 2GD and Bruno have really great banter together. Also, Kaci Aitchison's interviews were amazing. A lot of interviewers at these kind of events often stumble because the people they're interviewing are socially awkward but Kaci's training and experience as a professional makes her the best interviewer around, despite knowing nothing about esports before coming in. She turned around every awkward situation almost instantly.

Belongs in the video game thread btw, but since you wanted to hear some thoughts, here you go. :P

Yes! TI3 was huge, in practically all terms. Players skill, organization, and just the pure entertainment and excitement to see the teams progress in their plays and positions. Good that Chinese Dota got punished hard (although [A] kind of plays a similar Dota) in favor of more action-based strategies!

There's a video game thread already.
