It's not even good, dude. It's like liquified licorice.

It basically tastes like contextually fortunate cough-mixture.

I really like it though, I have to say - although it, and whatever you mix it with have both to be outrageously cold.

Well, nothing like Jagermeister, that's for sure.

Take strong liquorice bonbons and dissolve them in vodka or any other neutral spirit. If you like liquorice this is a nice treat.

exactly!

I'm partial to various kinds of pilseners, abbey ales, and stouts. I don't know shit about "good" whiskey, but I like Jameson and always appreciate it when a more knowledgable friend recommends a specific brand for me. Jager is alright, but I recently discovered Salmiakki Koskenkorva while travelling around Finland and that stuff will blow your head off. Love it.

Johnny Walker Black is my go-to and it's also the beginning of good Sam Adams beer season.

As a Polish guy my go-to drink is vodka of all kinds. Beer is a second choice and I am generally not very picky about both. My true love is cider though. I could drink it anyday of the week and twice on Sundays. Shame that Polish cider usually sucks though the situation is getting better. I wish it was like in Scotland. I love their cider when I visited this year.

Piss off with all of you smug little turds who are too "tasteful" to drink sweet ciders.
Go fellate Johnnie Walker and leave me to my vices.

I should probably leave well enough alone, but...

I'm not too "tasteful" to drink sweet ciders, whatever that means. I love sweet ciders - in their right niche as dessert drinks or sweet treats. What I don't like - at all - is "ciders" like Kopparberg or Rekorderlig, which are pretty much just alcopops. Don't like Johnnie Walker either. Or whisk(e)y in general. I'm not "tasteful" enough for the stuff.

Some of my favorites....... red wine, Jack Daniels, absinthe, and Japanese-Okinawan Habu-shu (a type of sake made of snake venom)

.......and then there's good ol' Jagermeister for sweet times :)
ONLY ice cold mind you!!!

Just looked at this in google, looks both fucking disgusting and incredible at the same time.

Just had some gin for the first time today. Reminds me of Steinhäger which is a good thing. The girl who was with me found it fucking terrible though lol

I like to drink a decent beer. I can't really call my self a connoisseur proper, since my sense of taste and smell are actually quite terrible. At any rate, I don't like the basic macro beer much, and I much rather waste my money on something very hoppy or a Belgian trappist.

No.

On another note, I recently tried Parallel 49's Seedspitter, a pleasant wheat ale with a faint hint of watermelon. It was enjoyable but I don't know if I'd pick it up again.

American craft beer (virtually all types), fancy Belgian or German beer, the occasional English brown ale, barleywine, or stout; a couple different single malt Scotch whiskies, as well as the occasional bourbon (preferably wheat bourbon); pear cider; and for wine I prefer Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec or Pinot Noir.

95% of the time it's beer though.

The cough syrup comment sounded more accurate to me.

Jag bombs can be fun sometimes, but only rarely for me.

I got really wasted on Jack n' Coke once, and that ruined JD for me forever. I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

I usually stick with wine -- whites mostly. Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc. There are so many wineries producing good ones, it's a cinch to find.

I recently traveled in Italy and really liked the Lugana they serve there. It's only produced in a small area in northern Italy. Pretty damn awesome.

For reds, a good Chianti will do.
