Yeah the cover is just bland. A lot of terrible hair metal albums did that, I guess it was a way to trick people into thinking it might be some sort of classy blues rock.

The Witchfinder General band pics / album covers are actually quite well done in the sense that they evoke the period in which they're meant to be set quite successfully. You can't really fault the costumes or production values at all.
