It always mystifies me how people are infuriated by the mere existence of an entertainment franchise they used to love but now dislike. It's one thing if you want it to be sculpted into something more in keeping with the original, but preferring it to be put out to pasture when you are under no obligation to see it (quite the opposite) is flatly moronic. What, is there some other franchise you think Disney should spend their caps on instead?

Disneywars films are the apex of mediocrity for me but I can actually watch them because they're big budget sci-fi spectacles, as opposed to almost every superhero movie. If they're going to be spending a shitton of money on blockbusters, I'll take 5 Solos over 1 Suicide Squad any. fuckin. day.
