My new list is over 50 pages of killer stuff - Old School mainly but quite a lot of other items...

PM me and I'll send out a PDF via Email.

The list will eventually be published in it's entirety on the Archive in the future. Get in there first by getting in touch directly. :)

As you can see I've also used the opportunity to tidy up my 'UP' ramblings.

I'd also like to add a word on pricing - please feel free to PM me with offers for any item you may desire :) You may be pleasantly surprised...The very worst that could happen is a polite declining of your offer.

Everything must go! I don't want a few LPs or CDs lying around at the end of the sale - Mocking me, taunting me on how mighty my Empire once was! Haha.

Godflesh were once refused entry to the USA - on account of the fact they were attired in clothing, that even a bum may have considered too threadbare, they also had hardly any money on their personages either.

Border control took one look at them and put them on the next flight back to the UK.

Quite rightly too - the scruffy pair of herberts :)

Like Comedy? Like Sci-Fi? Like Red Dwarf? Like Death Metal and Grindcore? What about Glam Rock? Hmmm, maybe not...

Check out this clip - of legendary band 'Smeg and The Heads' playing their classic track 'Om'.
Dobbin and Gazza (The Heads) look familiar? Maybe it's because in a parallel universe they could pass for Bill and Jeff from Carcass?

An unlikely Death Metal pioneer was none other than Jim Morrison of The Doors. During 'The Soft Parade' recording sessions he would repeatedly be exhorting drummer John Densmore to play faster (he was quoted as saying..."like you're blasting the kit away, man"). He similarly began urging Robby Krieger to downtune his guitar and add more distortion. Jim's lyrics had taken on a sinister aspect - mainly dealing with occultism, serial killings and mutilation. It is speculated one of these unreleased songs 'Gates to Hell' was also to be the band's new name.

The final straw for band 'leader' Ray Manzerak was when Morrison entered the vocal booth and began 'experimenting' with an alternately growled/screamed delivery of the lyrics.
Morrison was promptly dispatched to a rehab centre in Arizona, while the rest of the band completed this LP, by far the most banal piece in their catalogue. A heavily sedated Jim would later be coerced into adding 'crooner' style vocals in an additional session, with the threat of legal action and summary dismissal from the band hanging over him.

And that, my friends is 100% true - there's no actual evidence for it, but it's 100% true :)

Holy Dogshit...Does ANYONE pay ridiculous prices like the clown in the link below is charging?

$399.99 or £254.87 for one CD, that's right, ONE CD! and then the cheeky mofo has the brass neck to ask a further $7.50 / £5 postage.

Cheers to all the buyers who've gave me good reports ;) I can honestly say they weren't 'encouraged' to do so, using cattle prods and various forms of burning...

Belated thanx to TheBlackSwan - a great bloke with a killer band.

A quick word about 'reserving' stuff...

I really don't mind putting items to one side whilst someone gets the cash together - times are hard right now for a lot of folks (me included - hence the sale :().

Most who've reserved have been as good as their word, and the deal has eventually been made or I've been kept informed of any changes. But once or twice items have been 'sold' twice, because of non-contact from interested parties - it sucks to have to tell someone the item they were interested in has now gone (through no fault of their own usually!)

Feel free to ask me to save stuff, but PLEASE keep me informed of the status of your interest. An email or PM once a week or so, just to let me know you haven't dropped off the Planet...

Cheers!

Can anyone help me out? I found a bunch of compilation tapes from my days of doing a 'zine. They come with printed covers, insert and labelled tapes etc.

Some killer bands on there and they're like 20 years old - I'm not sure what to do with 14 copies of the same two tapes...

I'd sell them, but not sure how much to charge, is $6 and postage too much? I'm not even sure how much a decent blank C90 is these days...

Any help?

I may just use them as blanks for trading purposes if they're not worth anything to anyone as they are...Not that I'm expecting big bucks! :)

I could use some feedback - if anyone bothers to read these new posts that is...

The interest in the list seems to have waned - I was wondering if anyone is put off by lack of prices or even any kind of price guide?

Perhaps detail of the year of pressing or the label may help?

Perhaps I will set prices for some of the records?

I've got a few duplicates due to other traders selling whole collections etc. Maybe I will set a price for some items and list them in separate threads?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Bump this up - I'm about to do an updated thread/list for November and cut these two adrift soon.

I'll be putting the label and year details on the new thread - I've also become a selling post for some of my lazier friends in Metal who've also fell on hard times...So there'll be some updates.

Also, apologies to anyone reading for the delay in sending out traded tapes, I know I don't 'owe' anyone any outstanding tapes, but it's poor form due to my dubbing deck giving up the ghost after 20 years!

Finally, new enquiries seem to have dried up - anyone who sees anything that interests them send a PM or an Email - I don't bite and will consider all offers. I've really enjoyed selling direct these past months and would hate to have to go to Ebay to sell the remainders of these lists.

Cheers!

Well, as said in the post above, I've finally carried out my promise to cut the lists adrift....

I've took down the list of ORIGINAL Vinyl and CDs that was at the beginning of this thread. The list was so out of date and nobody had registered any interest for a long time.

My new list is over 50 pages of killer stuff - Old School mainly but quite a lot of other items...

PM me and I'll send out a PDF via Email.

The list will eventually be published in it's entirety on the Archive in the future. Get in there first by getting in touch directly. :)

Might as well mention a few items that are featured on the updated, by request only, list - that might grab your attention...

Bathory 1st Pressings?
'Signed by Chuck' Death 1st Pressings?
Carnage?
Carcass?
Sarcofago?

I feel like a seedy pimp! :(

There's been surprisingly not much interest from members...

Hmmm...Maybe I'll post the list directly onto the thread.

If you want to beat the rush (ha!) and snap up some ultra rare old school (and some brand new and sealed reissues) and many other items, send a PM with your email and I'll get right back to you with a list.

Cheers,

Hey man, I'm back from the dead! I'll be in touch directly in the next day or so...

OK, everyone else this is a 'heads up' - cool metal comrades have requested my sale list directly and deals have been made for ORIGINAL old school Vinyl and CDs by bands such as Malevolent Creation, S.O.B., Megaslaughter, Bolt Thrower and Entombed amongst many others...

There are potential deals in progress for stuff by Emperor, Autopsy and more!

So send a PM to get a Emailed PDF of this list before there's nothing left!

Especially with Chief_Predator around! ;)

Just bumping the thread up - see if there's any more requests for the PDF of my Sale list, PM me and I'll Email you and we'll see if we can do a deal or two?

Latest activity, looks like two excellent LPs by Sodom (GER) will be finding a new home soon...

I also found, in my two decades-closed closet of festering evil, a couple of fullsize, color and 'signed by the band' Carcass - 'Necroticism: Descanting the Insalubrious' Posters the other day, I'll include one of these to the first couple of buyers of any of my five Carcass vinyls...(Necrotisism, Reek, Symphonies, Peel Sessions, Excreted Alive at the BBC Pic Disc).
