I'll be there with fellow MA member PvtNinjer and one of our friends. I am unbelievably excited for this trip; it's my first metal festival. I must have quadruple-checked everything already!

Yeah, we're going for pancakes. All the cool MAers got their secret invitations in the mail. You got yours, right? :P

In all seriousness tho, let's pick a time and spot, say, the parking lot in front of the show right before the place opens. It's fun seeing people as people you previously understood only as text on a screen.

I'm going too. My third time, should be sweet.
Sunday is just ridiculous. Fucking Manilla Road, Sleep, Pentagram and Venom playing in a row! Let's of course not forget Speedwolf, Pagan Altar and Midnight.

I'll be there. My 5th year going and it just seems to get better each time, regardless of whose playing. Can't fucking wait.

Should I see Integrity or Manilla Road? I love both bands, of course they just HAVE to be playing at the same time.

I'm leaning a bit towards Integrity because their music would probably be more fun than Manilla Road's in a live setting.

I'm also considering seeing half of each show, but it would probably be pretty awkward and time-wasting to try to get out of a crowd and run over to the other stage.

I was gonna go (kind of silly not to, since I live in Maryland) but Sunday, the day I wanted to go (Carpathian Forest, rarrr) there's a new goth/industrial event, and the goth scene around here needs even more support than the metal scene :/ Honestly, I would do both, MDF during the day and the goth thing at night, but I don't have the funds :( Hopefully next year. Have fun y'all!

Seeing as that I live in Maryland, Baltimore is only 50 minutes from my house, so I will be there. This is actually my first time too! I will only be able to make Saturday though. I am most excited for Vinterland.

Tips? Yeah. Water. Drink lots of it if possible. Especially if you're planning on participating in what is essentially the beer olympics. A glass of water here and there goes a long way.

Too much death metal for my tastes. Oh well, they do not call it a death-fest arbitrarily!

If anyone will be there today, I'm a 5'10" overweight white dude with dark brown hair, wearing a Katatonia 'Dead End Kings' shirt and green cargo shorts.

You too dude! Man, that worked out well. Now that I've been identified, tomorrow I'll probably wear a Psychotic Waltz or an Agent Steel shirt.

Now, if we're going to be serious about meeting up, we really ought to establish a place and time. I'm saying between 4:15 and 4:30, just inside the entrance?

Oh, haha, that was meant for everyone on MA, not just you, Zodi. :) Yeah, I'll keep an eye out for you for sure, and since you know what I look like now, it should be pretty easy.

If anyone is hitting the Pagan Altar, Manilla, Evoken, or Venom merch sets could pm me the prices of their shirts! I'm not in attendance but I'd love to know!
