The second Malta Death Fest will happen next month.
Last year, the festival was only one day (could that be considered a festival?), but this year it's going to be 3 days in length. That includes a warm-up party on the 20th and the bands will be performing on the 21st and 22nd. The event, organised by members of Beheaded, will be hosted by Ed Veter (Infidel Amsterdam) from the Netherlands.
The line up consists of only European bands at this stage. Bands will be hailing from Malta (of course), the UK, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Ireland.
The acts confirmed for this year's festival are:
Beheaded, Carnal Decay, Abysmal Torment, Natrium, Zombified, Skewered, Basement Torture Killings, Hatred, Repugnance, Achiral, Among Rats,
Iniquitous Savagery, Carnivorous Horde, Waking Up Dinosaurs, Party Cannon
Here's the poster with the date, venue, ticket price (€20 pre-sale, €25 on the door), band logos, sponsors and anything else relating to the festival.
The host has made a video in preparation for the festival.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnMn4gUFhVgWell, it's growing in popularity, given that it's 3 days in length and only in it's second year. I'm not sure if (m)any of you will be going this year, but a growing metal festival in the Mediterranean? Not bad. Not bad at all. I look forward to flying over for this.
