Oh wow. Maybe I'm being needlessly negative and should just shut up, but a Xasthur acoustic tour sounds like it could easily be the most boring tour ever conceived. Jesus fucking christ :ugh:

He isn't playing xasthur material acoustically. He has a new dark folk type of project, but it's under the xasthur name in order to sell more records. He has also warned people that if they like xasthur they may not necessarily want to come to this because this tour has no metal in it.

As well as to trick people into coming out to see this tour. I got excited about it for a moment when I first saw it but I'm not so sure now. I haven't heard any of his acoustic stuff, but if it's decent, it might be worth checking out.

Well, since Marissa Nadler and Johanna Warren are the opening acts, at least in my neck of the woods, I may actually go the show and just hit the bar or leave when the headliners are up, depending.
