I really like the direction they are heading. This looks more like a Euro style lineup than last year where it was basically just every US band that was already on tour and easy to see. Was just asking for Blind Guardian to come to the USA so maybe I'll have to give this one a go.

Really weird to see Slaughter to Prevail given such a high billing. Are they really that popular in the metal world? Are they even that popular in the deathcore world?

I think so - the band / Alex Terrible seems to be growing pretty rapidly in the social media sphere. Not my favorite band, but overall this lineup has very little deathcore so I'm not bothered by it.

Lots of good stuff. Unfortunate for my tastes that the Friday is so stacked (11 bands I'd want to see) while Sunday has almost nothing that interests me.

Agreed. Friday is absolutely insane. Saturday is weird, Sunday is just plain bad.

Yeah that Friday lineup is awesome. I was initially super bummed when I saw Blind Guardian will be in NYC when I am out of town but perhaps I'll just make a trip to Milwaukee next year...

Not sure if I'm missing it on the website but does it say anywhere when early bird pricing ends and when set times will be announced?

Such an insanely stacked lineup. Some not so great bands on Sunday made up for in spades by the amazing Friday and especially Saturday lineups. Wish I could make it to Milwaukee on these dates so bad. Death, Possessed, and Bleed From Within alone would be worth it, let alone all the other great bands.

Pulled the trigger on a 3 day with the hopes that the Sunday will eventually include more that I like. Can't miss BG in a festival headline slot in the US.

Do you think BG is going to be playing a different set for this than the other stops on the same tour?

Probably not unless their set length is longer than the typical 90 mins + encore club gig. They aren't coming to my state during the tour though and the atmosphere / crowd will be the best out of any US date here, IMO.

I got the 3 day pass and am really excited, I've never done a festival like this before and this looks like a blast. Friday's lineup is insane.

11 more bands added - excited to see Hammerfall added to an already awesome Friday lineup.

HAMMERFALL, TESTAMENT, SOILENT GREEN (Reunion), PALEFACE SWISS, EXHUMED, IT DIES TODAY, ERRORS OF HUMANITY, CASKET ROBBERY, HELLWITCH, BELUSHI SPEEDBALL & ILLUSION OF FATE
