http://www.revoltproductions.com/melbourneeventsFeast of Metal II is gonna hit you. Hard. Revelling in all things heavy, this metal music and cultural festival is about more than just the music. It’s about the scene. It’s about crafting an event that’s unique. It’s about supporting our brothers and sisters of metal; the visual artists, the business owners, and the musicians. And having a fucking incredible time while we’re at it.
Feast of Metal II will bring you sword fighting, a metal marketplace, a dark artwork exhibition, succulent meals, metal and medieval themed games, and of course two stages of face crushingly good music.
The weapon and battle displays will be brutal, with the Vlachernai Branch of the New Varangian Guard returning to unleash their armaments upon one another. The art exhibition will be dark, heavy, challenging and curious, with the ungodly talents of our local artists enriching the space. The marketplace will create a true centre for metal culture, bringing the finest wares together into one inconceivable treasure trove. The food and drink options will present tastes which are to die for with a range of medieval fare to gnash your teeth on, and the games will bring joy to even the most hardened veterans.
Building on the success of Feast of Metal I, the second edition will bring even more music to your voracious ears. So let me introduce to you the metal warriors; the rebels of society and the heroes of our scene; the humans that have created legend through the blood, calluses, and sweat of heavy metal.
