When trying to update a band's information I see no option to add the band's contact/email. Do I need to be a higher rank or is this something you add via "inserting band link"? Also I have noticed a lot of outdated or incorrect additional information, such as releases that have no mention of bonus tracks or limitation, but I can't edit any of them

As for incorrect/outdated info, if you can't edit something yourself you may use the report function. Include sources/proof when necessary. If you make helpful reports, you'll receive points for them and, eventually, will be able to make the modifications on your own. See here for how our rank/points system works.
