Provoke Your Enemy: rejected based on lack of vr. Will do a bit more digging.

The Equinox: spoke with band. EP was released physically. Probably enough for submission, but I’ll wait for more details.

Aboardage: spoke with Bulgarian Rock archives. Their only official release is a compilation track. Discogs is for sure unofficial. No VR.

Kumbunzzbootiebitchbunch: spoke with the successor band. Only one song recorded for the compilation. No vr.

Downward: another short lived band. Spoke with the project that came out after this, and they described it as a tryout band. The single on bandcamp was released after the band split. No vr.

The Hammer (1928) was added last year, and can be removed. Thanks.

Excellent research in here, GodOfMalice! One thing I'd add about Syncod (France) is that I think that YT uploader gets most of his content from mp3 sharers and download sites, so probably not real verification of the release there.
The Мираж студия site that you found even has pictures of the magnetic albums, so that great band should finally be able to be included.

In Tormenting Reverie: spoke with a band member. According to them, “We put out that 1 track you probably came across on YouTube, but that's it. We auditioned a few vocalists, but none ever panned out.” No VR.

War and Hate: Looks like the band fell through during the recording of their EP. No VR.

Death Assembly: Band is done now. They recorded a two track EP with the tracks 'Sixth Sense' and 'Amen'. They're on reverbnation, but cannot be downloaded. Seeking additional details.

I'll throw a watch on it in hopes of him lowering the price. $30 is not a priority. By the way, I've been using webarchive to archive every active ebay listing i've come across.

Ломбард / Lombard: Recordings were on reel-to-reels according to site.
https://gruppasssr.ru/L/lombardisk.html

Атлас / Atlas: I'm failing to hear anything from this band that sounds metal. From the link originally provided to other recordings. Sounds like Prog rock.

Континент: Not metal. Prog/Hard Rock. Good music, but should be removed.

Стадион: Rock, not metal.

https://www.discogs.com/artist/2912289- ... 0%BE%D0%BD

День за днем: Another one where the VR status is unclear to me. Is that CD label unofficial? Slon also made a discogs listing for a reel to reel.

Тяжёлый характер / Tyazholiy kharakter: Spoke to the contributor on discogs asking if it was "official" for lack of a better term. He replied, "Band self release".

Provoke Your Enemy: I've been trying to contact the person behind bflat records who also submitted the cd to discogs, Roger Sundström. So far, I've been unsuccessful at reaching him.

Just 2 minor updates for bands on the main list:
- Metal Beast (US) (11916) has neither samples nor VR, but is marked green as having both. Should be changed to red x's.
- Black Vomit (3890) - marked as possibly being from Chile. It was found out later that they are from the UK.

Thanks.

Beneath a Crimson Sky: I'm 99% certain this band never recorded more than one track. Reverbnation, youtube, and archived bandcamp page suggest as much.

Gorbushka (which I was told a few days ago it closed recently) was quite famous until a few yearrs ago as a place where to find a lot of hand made cd editions off mp3 or downloadable sources. I think this is just a private/unauthorized/hand made release.

Until the end of USSR the only label authorized to issue CD was Melodiya or its local branches. This is clearly a fan club or hand made edition released several years later

By the way: some examples of magnitoalbums (reel-to-reel): the first one is a Kruiz recording (live in Riga 1983 + Kikogavva album 1985), the second has an original hand made tracklist, the third one with an enclosed tracklist possibly added several years later:

Свема and Пента were among the most famous brands for magnitoalbums

Submitted. After ripping the CD and looking at the cover art more in depth. I noticed that the album on Discogs was incorrectly titled. Its actually "Liber Mortis" not "Liver Mortis". I did a Google search "Gutrot - Liber Mortis CD" and a whole whack of information popped up about the band; including audio samples. Good ole typos.

Cranium: In the description of one of the videos the publisher mentions the band's efforts to release anything official fell through. The uploader looks to be the vocalist of the band as well.
"Three guys from Kilkis, Polykastro, one from Katerini and one from Thessaloniki joined together and created the Heavy Metal group CRANIUM... They are suggested to make a record LP... They entered into studio... The German Metal Hammer listens to their tape and asks for a resume and photo to show them… As Saturn ate his children so CRANIUM ate themselves... They never managed to take this picture... And they broke up"

Also submitting About Aggression. Uploader responded to me saying they found the music on CD in a thrift shop some years ago.
