I think you may be referring to this report (although I may be wrong), in which case I genuinely did not see what needed to be done just from reading the report description itself and that the band page was reported instead of the album itself but that is not a big issue at all, obviously, I just did not happen to see where the duplicate was from the beginning and and that is on me. When I read the report description and source/evidence, all I saw was "hey" and "ho" and that was all so I figured it was probably just a mistake. I do apologize for that. I'm either too careful or not careful enough most of the time I find.

you're a good man for owning up to it, but, to be fair, there were two identical entries on their discog tab, which is the default tab. couldn't have been any more obvious than that. if I have to type it out, there's nothing left.

Need more assertion in the queue. It's still backlogged at 100+ more than it should be. Never seems to go down unless I'm on there. Let's focus.

There's a non-logged user/visitor queue reporting that certain bands should be removed because their albums are not "findable". Not sure how they should be dealt with. Seems like anyone could say that a certain album can't be found because proving a negative is generally trickier than a positive but a lot of the bands it seems have reliable looking links and home pages in their related links section.

On top of that his source is "metal-archives.com".

The key is tackling the older (stagnated) stuff. The reports on the top end (more recent) tend to get dealt with daily, but the queue will never get lower, and in fact only slowly rise, if the older stuff isn't dealt with.

Got it, it can be regressive otherwise I'm seeing These reports tend to be back logged and therefore more involved seeing as I haven't had desktop all day I've been trying to do some of the less laborious ones on the mobile. Should have desktop back up soon to try to sort through some of these. Thanks for reminding as I got into a habit of that one today looking back on it.

The stupid person was the user who added a 4-way split as compilation and tried to sneak it past by manually editing the track titles to say "Band name - Song title".

In one night Zodijackyl single handedly halved the report queue. Proof that these entries are not impossible and don't need to sit like that for weeks. Exercise some initiative, people! Trust your instinct and don't be afraid to close stagnated reports. I feel like a broken record sometimes.

the point of this one wasn't only that someone put in the additional notes "Carsten & Kalle - backing vocals" (and we don't know who they are), but also that nor in the booklet and in the web there is information about these two supposed guys. They're not mentioned, so one can not reply:

"Whether we know who it is or not, its stupid to have it in the notes. Add two artists to the guest/session "Carsten" and "Kalle". We can always merge artist profiles later if we can verify identities. "

Why should we add them in the guest/session page since there's no reliable information anywhere about those guys contributing backing vocals on Pile of Skulls?
