Talking with the guy of GS Production, there is the will to re-release their recordings if they find proper high quality sources in the future

Smegma: Bandmember confirmed no VR. I asked if anything was handed out at live shows, and he said he thinks not. Best to remove.
https://imgur.com/a/FZbEkak

Machine's Way: I asked if the band released anything and a bandmember said it was just on youtube. No vr apparently.
https://imgur.com/a/0zciAvd

Miskatonic: There's a copy for sale on discogs. I think there might be enough VR proof for this one. Will submit.

Year Zero got added.
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ye ... 3540543106

Stagg: I contacted the seller on discogs and he said it's more in the vein of hard rock than metal. Another site has this band listed as "Female fronted melodic hard rock sung in Finnish." Best to take this one off the list in my opinion.

The Disembodied: Found 2/5 tracks on the internet archive. Way more hardcore than expected, but not to the point where this is 100% removable. if someone thinks the band should go based on these, please feel free to say so.
https://archive.org/details/@bassmanj

Ujenyx: Got a (rare) response back on soundcloud. It seems they released something in the 80s, but couldn't get exact details. Might see about getting more info.

Sweet Impale: Mikseri here. Sounds like metal. Problem is that none of the tracks are the ones on the CD. Might be enough to submit.
https://mikseri.net/sweetimpale

BV.Inc: Has an entire album's worth of material but no coherent VR from what i've seen. This blog mentions an album but could just be BS.
https://www.palcomp3.com.br/bvinc/
https://pichilianimetalrooom.blogspot.c ... v-inc.html

Amongst The Carnage: Soundcloud here. Only has two tracks, and one is a... lovely christmas cover.

Bodega-B: Last-fm and metalmuseum listing releases. This band definitely released at least one demo and split. Probably super rare.
https://www.last.fm/music/Bodega-b/+wiki
https://metalmuzeum.hu/index.php?title= ... BAk_(split)

Bounty (5644): Comp track here. Sounds like decent metal. Need to see if there was more than that.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oeg56o3bK6M

Clone (5664): So this band has enough info to submit. I found an entire set on youtube and the band in the comments posted a link to download their obscure demo in the comments. Link is dead now, but a metalmuseum listing has the details. Problem is that this is more borderline "groove metal" that has a lot of hardcore in it. Will deliberate on this one.
https://youtu.be/TUN_qFvsfO8?si=m1R24y7UrUWvmfPe
https://metalmuzeum.hu/index.php?title= ... %A1s_(demo)

Inferno (5755): Already listed under Inferno Metalcore System.
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/In ... stem/45844

Marilyn: Sounds more like hard/glam rock.
https://vk.com/music/playlist/162422172_52

Mind Control: Are we sure this isn't the same as the listed band? Lastfm claims they are the same. I also found samples where the name is stylized as one word, like the listed one.
https://www.youtube.com/@dexmorkill/sea ... indcontrol

Ninive: Sounds like rock.
https://music.apple.com/ru/song/j%C3%A1 ... /410920790

Tears: Rock.

Validity of release questionable.

viewtopic.php?p=2619447#p2619447

Seems like moniker 'the' is giving me some trouble when searching for topic. I didn't get any results when using band's whole name but got this same post as a result when using only 'Deeps Beyond'. Will watch out for this in the future.

I have uploaded the full tape and a photo after receiving a message about it on Discogs. Still don't know anything beyond my initial post though.

Spoiler: show

She Nasty - Deathcore from Massachusetts, New Hampshire (USA)

Could be one of those digital demos that were download only. Apparently no art.

The band's archived myspace says you could download an ep, but this music does not sound acceptable IMO. Too core.

Thanks for that. Had a few listens through between now and then anyway and yeah sounds like mathy deathcore that doesn't incorporate enough metal riffage

Fear Of Falling: EP found here by a person that found it in a goodwill. That would likely be proof for VR, but this is not metallic metalcore to my ears.
https://youtu.be/RqLxAVF0v8c?si=UYprwu-eeV-MtQcK

No Name Maddox: AKA Noname Maddox. This band is frequently lumped in with Nu-metal and hardcore. This is evident in the following links, and should probably be removed.
https://sideshowfreaks.org/Music/index. ... ame_Maddox
https://toomuchrock.com/shows/noname.html
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8sN_gXoIAI

Resist (8597): Nu-Metal/Hardcore.
https://officialresistmusic.bandcamp.co ... of-reality

The Common Man: Riffs now and then, but too mathy. Reminds me of Yakuza a lil bit.
https://vk.com/music/playlist/-21683085 ... 9a0150b8b6

4 Thirteen: found three tracks, all of which seem to lean more hard rock.
https://www.broadjam.com/songs/4thirteen

Actitud Enemiga: This band? Formed in the early 2000s, from Argentina, but not the city mentioned by BU.
https://www.reverbnation.com/actitudenemiga
https://actitudenemiga.bandcamp.com/album/un-nuevo-d-a

Aphasia: Whole live show here. Advertised as extreme nu-metal. Probably not worth keeping.

Hey, PM. I hope I don’t come off as rude, but you might want to audit that list you just submitted for double counting, as off the top of my head Provoke Your Enemy is already on the research list. Not sure how many others were here or taken off the list, but it’s a possibility.

Slurp!: Started out Industrial/Thrash before moving to industrial metal. Will Submit.

Thin Ice: Hard Rock.
https://youtu.be/qwtZ0KGOnGs?si=9kLf5DnDhugmcU8M

Sepulchrum Dei: Black Metal. VR was marked no, but there's a picture of the CD on discogs, and I found another image of the promo with a case and CD. Will submit. If rejected, will report back.

Hindsight 20/20: Found proof of VR and samples. Music is borderline. Described as a mix of Disturbed and Dream theater so there's that. I'm inclined to say it leans more rock, but this is a genre I am not familiar with. It might be worth a shot in the queue.

Needs research. - Beautiful Broken
Genre: Metalcore
Location: Germany

Original name of:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/He ... 3540537828

The HSIG album was likely originally released under the Beautiful Broken name, presumably on MySpace or something.

There's a review
https://www.metal.de/reviews/beautiful- ... ary-12560/

and I saw one or two more, but neither mention anything on how it was distributed/released. Could've just been a promo sent out to zines/labels or whatever...

Needs proof for VR.
