I'm afraid that,since I haven't got any technical knowledge about music and my english level is quite low,I don't know how to describe better than this what I'm looking for,I hope what I have described is understandable.

Try Joy Division, The Cure, New Order or Morrissey solo career. Also for a more modern twist try The Stone Roses and Pulp. Radiohead has a similar tone but more progressive/experimental, keeping the sad melancholic vibe of The Smiths. Also try Sonic Youth and Pixies which are like punkier and noisier Smiths.
