I kept meaning to get into Voivod, always putting off listening to them. I decided to rectify that, but I have no idea where to start. I have always heard this or that is a good album, but what album or albums would you recommend me start with? Thank you!

Like with any bands, start with their first album and go chronologically but if you don't want to do that you can't wrong with Killing Technology, Dimension Hatross and Nothingface, that's their golden trilogy. I personally like the raw punky approach of War and Pain a lot though and the prog rock of Angel Rat and The Outer Limits is quite great.

Actually, I might try what you said, I would like to get a feel of how their music progressed over the years. Listening to War and Pain now, yeah it is very raw, loving it!
