First of all I'd to thank the guy/gal who, in a request thread, mentioned Kid North... I really enjoy their song "England".

I've looked quite a few times into indie rock but I haven't really found songs/band that I found interesting... but I guess I've now managed to identify the specific sound I enjoy.


High-pitched guitar + prominent bass line... and this probably on the pop end of the indie rock spectrum. It's quite edulcorated.
Too bad they've used Two door cinema club ad nauseam in commercials, etc.

I like the overall sound, but I'd appreciate it if could be a tad bit more complex.

ever give Sigur Ros a try? Or mid period Radiohead (Kid A, OK Computer, The Bends). i guess these aren't exactly "indie" but mostly fitting your criteria.
