So I was flipping through BM stuff on Amazon, and when I typed in Gehenna, and I got the usual things you'd expect. But then this compilation entitled "Awakening" popped up. It's apparently a Gothic/Doom Metal CD of various female led bands. I've heard of some of the artists on it, but a good chunk of them I have no idea who they are.

Amazon has it up used for about a dollar, and since I can't really find any info on it, I thought I'd ask the friendly crowd here. I'll leave a link to the product, as well as list the bands on it.

I had this comp many years ago. It was just an homage to females in extreme metal. Nothing on it was exactly essential (ie- rare, unreleased tracks), but not a bad CD. $1? I say go for it.
