I want some bands that use instruments that aren't used very much. I don't mean violins, cellos, harpsichords, nyckleharpas or nyckelharpas. I mean traditional instruments that are almost never used. I already know the obvious folk choices like Folkearth, Folkodia, Senmuth and Cruachan.

Taiwanese black metal band Chthonic have used traditional instruments in their songs and they did a live DVD with a full Taiwanese orchestra featuring a lot of traditional instruments. Well worth checking out.
